Re: Why I buy SWR silencers
Hey M-60, Those first two photos are great and I like the smoke and brass in the third. I started into photography a while back and I really enjoy seeing good photos like that. I'm guessing you dabble in photography too? Good stuff. Thanks! Yeah, I dabble in it a bit. Just for fun... http://m-mason...

It's not that the barrel is that thin. It's that is the OD for 5/8X24. It leaves no shoulder.

Re: 44 Mag Subsonic-Which powders ?
I have a Silent Destroyer done by Tom Denall. I am using 6.5gr Red Dot, CCI 300 primer, and 300gr Nosler Sport bullets. I am using a medium crimp. Never had one go supersonic (they are stupid quiet) and they are reasonably accurate.

If it's going to a Trust, a NICS check is required.

Re: A little braggin
Since I have not threaded tubes or pipes this big before, I am practicing before cutting the production piece of metal for my F1 can. I'm ready to go, and might start building the production core this weekend! Heres my attempt at threading, I got them PERFECT, I mean they were smooth, and effortles...

I vote for sticking with .44 mag too. You just don't see .44 special very often. If he needs light .44 mag loads, almost any cowboy load will work. He can buy light loads from www.georgia-arms.com. He would then have the flexibility of shooting full power 44 mag loads if he wants to. -Adrian A cust...
