Ultrasonic won’t do anything to lead
Scrape it or dip. Can’t dip alum. Don’t ultra alum for long.
People have had luck with pin rolling but use poly media on alum.

Re: Death in family, transfer question
The Form 5 will require the death cert and the will stating her as the heir.
IIRC, she will also have to do the fingerprints and photo IDs at this point to comply with last year's rule change.

Re: Suppressor dip recipe
OK. Interesting thread. My first suppressor, a .22, has aluminum baffles. What is the easiest way to clean it? Scraper Technically, you can ultrasonic clean it but have to use very PH balanced solution. That won't help with lead. Best bet: pre-treat with the silicon and clean within 200 rds. or you...

Yes. See my links above.pdsmith505 wrote:Since you effectively wrote it yourself anyways, just "restate" the trust, pay a couple bucks to have it notarized, and go on with life.
While you are at it, add/remove trustees/beneficiaries as you see fit.

Just re write the trust word for word. You can make a few alterations. Reference the original trust.

Re: obsidian vs octane piston
Well I didn't see how those slots could possibly contribute to blowback through the barrel / chamber. You're explanation explains why there may be more residual gas exiting near the muzzle area-- but I'd surmise that would actually "lessen" chamber blowback since some of the pressure is re...

Re: obsidian vs octane piston
According to a member of the design team for the osprey: As a member of the design team for the Osprey, I can confirm that the slots in the piston were indeed added for a reason and that's for orientation of the can. You really could have saved yourself some time and money and not copied that featur...

How is my analysis not "on target". That's one of the silliest things I've ever heard. My statement was "no perceivable blow back through those slots" I know that there is no perceivable blowback because in all the houndreds and hundreds of rounds that I've shot, I've never perc...

Re: Does your NFA Trust have a Schedule A?
By strict definition, the sole purpose of any Trust is to hold property. If it doesn't hold anything, then it can be legally argued that it's very existence isn't kosher. So when you get a new Trust notarized into existence, it doesn't stop there. You should also be assigning some tangible property...

Re: All SS sealed can, and "the dip"?
You can dip an all stainless sealed can but the problem is there will be goopy residue that will NOT come out when you want it to come out. It WILL come out on a gast gun through the chamber with the backpressure. I for one would never want that mess in my face, mine as well suck on lead powder at ...
