Re: Sterling 9mm misfiring with military grade ammo
Harder primers on the military ammo. I'd double check your firing pin length/protrusion since that should be a pretty easy check, and if thats fine, check whatever springs for the firing pin your gun has, not sure if the sterling is fixed firing pin, or something else etc..

Re: stainless baffle coating/finish
I was wanting to get the new SS core and end cap black oxided for cheap just so the looks of the can would be would be all black like the anodized aluminum tube. The old mono core was anodized aluminum and I am beginning to think it was a much tougher finish than I thought as far as firing after se...

Re: stainless baffle coating/finish
Hard anodized is about as durable as youre going to get on aluminum. (Unless you can find someone to do vapor deposition of diamond on it  ) As far as on stainless, a proper hardening should be pretty much impervious to a .22lr, and anything else is probably going to wear more than the stainl...

Re: Suppressor questions from a match director
Is recoil reduced compared to a similar unsuppressed rifle, without a muzzle brake? Yes, definitely, it catches and slows the gasses exiting, so any rifle where the powder charge is significant compared to the projectile mass, it will make a difference. Its definitely noticeable on my 5.56 AR when ...

Re: Booster operation
The gas is why it works. When the bullet passes through the piston the gas fills the 1st blast section pulling the can away from the barrel it's attached to. Then the spring snaps it back, this in essence let's the barrel free float as if there wasn't any addition weight on the end. this is the mea...

We can't post copyrighted material here for fear of a frivolous lawsuit. Can't the contents of the leaked doc...

Re: Escalation of Force
Honestly outside the home I don't think a firearm should come out unless you're about to shoot. In the home I'd agree with shouting commands in some circumstances. For example if I heard a bump in the night I wouldn't shout down my hallway asking who's there like a soon-to-be-dead person in a crapp...

Make it yourself or get some Graeters. It's expensive as hell, but the best commercial ice cream I've found.
