Cyclone good for more than 308?
Just ordered my Cyclone tonight, was wondering what calibers it's good for. Its going on the Rem 700 AAC so for now I'm not too worried, just wondering for future reference if its ok for 30-06 or 300wm.

What sights are useable suppressed?
I would assume that pretty much all the red dot sights work well with a can, but as far as normal sights which ones work? Particularity with a suppressor like the Ti-rant is more what I'm leaning towards.

Re: Will gen 3 mags work in a gen 4 Glock?
Yes as long as the reverse-able mag release on the Gen 4 is left on the left side. The difference is Gen 4 mags have two slots cut in them for the magazine catch so it will work with the mag release on the right.

Re: anti spatter spray
I have not, but its interesting I wonder how well it would work. I've used several types of it work, and some work far better then others. Not sure what brand it is that we have now, but works great for the intended use. I'm amusing your talking about using it in a take-apart 22 can. The stuff will ...

Keep an eye on it for what exactly?rockman96 wrote:If you have a choice I'd say the 51T definitely. Those weren't available when I got mine or I would have one....with that said, the 18T has never caused me any problems, but I keep n eye on it.

Re: Can't decide 762-SD, Cyclone, or Cyclone-K?
Thanks for all the info... exactly what I was looking for. Looks like 762-SD is what it will be. So the next question is 18T vs 51T, or does it not really matter? And are they interchangeable?

Re: First Rimfire Can
I have a Stratus and I love the thing. The baffles for the Tac65 and Stratus really don't look that different to me. The Stratus is shorter and lighter then the Tac65, and probably a little bit louder. My only small complaint with it is sometimes the FRP is a little loud on it. For a list price of $...

Can't decide 762-SD, Cyclone, or Cyclone-K?
Ready to buy one of the three but I can't make my mind up. Whichever one it is will be used on multiple hosts... AR's, and bolts. I'm completely open to suggestions, like to know the ins and outs of all three.

Re: 762-SD other calibers...
I hope Arrowshot will pop into this thread. I sold him a 762SD that is on his 16" AR15. He loaded some subsonics- sounded like his suppressed 10/22 (Spectre) with a bolt lock. The Subsonic 5.56 did not move the action- so it made things even. If you want a multi use can- buy the 762-SD right n...

Probably a dumb question, but what silencer does everyone plan on going with? I'm guessing the 762-SD.

Re: New Remington SPS
You guys are right...Escort was a little harsh and mustang is a little better analogy. That being said, standard Remington barrels are very marginal. You would be much better off putting the AICS money in a barrel and properly bedding a cheaper stock. I know alot of guys think that the out of the b...

Re: New Remington SPS
This rifle is no Ford Escort. It is more like a Mustang that came with hubcaps and for which people can pick out their own set of upgrade wheels. I am putting mine in an AICS. Lol that's just damn funny...looks like these things are flying off the shelves. I'm really considering getting one. Are th...

Re: which .22 pistol host?
With a Ruger if you want to get a Tac Sol barrel it would need to be sent to an FFL, as the serial number is on that part. The Browning's grip frame has the serial number, so no need for an FFL if buying a Tac Sol barrel. Or there's option #3 which I just did this weekend, buy the Buckmark Wisper if...

Re: 762-SD other calibers...
Thanks for all the great info on this one. I don't plan on running any of those calibers on anything less then a 20" barrel, so looks like I'm good to go on pretty much all of it. What other options are out similar to the 762-SD, and would any of you consider them better then the 762-SD?

Re: 762-SD other calibers...
More or less as of now I can only afford one. So buying a top of the line can to use on as much as I can right now makes more sense for me. Hell I'd love to buy one for every gun and just leave them on all the time but that's not a financial reality. Maybe a little while down the road I'll purchase ...

762-SD other calibers...
Looking into purchasing another can for multiple hosts. From reading everything I can on here buying a can for just .223 is somewhat of a waste. Really considering the 762-SD cause it looks like I can use it on a lot of different calibers. So what all will it work on with very little chance of faili...

Would it make sense sound wise? You got it, one of the best hosts is a bolt action 22. All you'll hear with subs is the pin dropping. At the risk of getting flamed, my 452 American loved Rem subs. I've recently switched to CCI Quik-Shok subsonic cause they put game dawn quicker. Are the subs worth i...

I haven't used them myself, but my recommendation would be to go with Tornado Tech. I used Aquila for mine and was not happy. I had the action bedded while it was out to be shortened and threaded. My CZ 452 gained accuracy. But it did it with a different load. I was really disappointed when I first got everything back and put together, the group size almost doubled. So I re-tested all the loads I had originally tested and found one that shot great. And it was one that did not shoot well befor...

Buffer Source?
Whats a good source for buffers? I can't seem to find much of anything for them. I'd like to get one of each stocked for tuning of different uppers. right now I only have a CAR buffer. I'd like to get an h, h2, and h3. Preferably from the same manufacture, or does that not really matter?
