That rifle is a heavy 5.56. My "light" rifle was a .17 fireball. Also shot HMR and .308 bolt guns.

That's a pretty damn heavy barrel. Yes, it is. Stag Arms, Model 6. With suppressor, optic, and bipod, the rifle is around 17lbs. It's GREAT for prairie dogs in Wyoming. Had a blast this past spring, but it's over gassed. Thanks for the info. Yikes, 17lbs! And yea, everything Stag makes is overgasse...
