It exists.

I've shot them inside in low light using NV and not seen any major issues - but I've not been beside one outside in the dark.

Re: XMAS cheer 16" barrels ??

It was the Knighthawk/Magpul Dynamic's type barrel 16" dimpled forward of the gas block.

IIRC there where 6 or so of those provided to members instead of the 11.5" dimpled barrel

Re: Interesting KAC mount, KB tell us what it was made for!!

Old Old Old NV mount. The bottom rail was a M4 (or other weapon) receiver extending rail to be able to us a Leupold M3A/Ultra or similar sight on a shorter receiver. The Basket was to be able to use a SIMRAD or other type sight in conjunction as well as mount accessories to the side. This was all pr...

Re: KAC QD Muzzle Climb Compensator P/N 98615

I don't recall any being sold commercially.

Mostly these where designed for earlier M4-QD suppressor using folks.

The theory was that a user could swap between the FH mount, a Muzzle Comp, a Confined Space device and a Suppressor.

Re: KAC QD Muzzle Climb Compensator P/N 98615

Was developed a long time ago, from another program.

Was designed to be a clip on muzzle brake.

Looks like a picture from one of Dave's old Catalogs.

Re: Commercial Mk 11 Mod 1 Rifle Kit Questions

The Suppressors should all be Taupe - (for authenticity).

The only black M110/Mk11 Mod2 suppressors sold where to Singapore for their M110's -- that said we or others may have CeraKoted some black for a more uniform appearance.

Re: Commercial Mk 11 Mod 1 Rifle Kit Questions

40 where made. We used SS barrels for these -- which where in theory (at least in Crane terminology) Mk11 Mod4 rifles (Mod3 was a Mk11 Mod0 with a SS barrel, and Mod4 was a M110/Mk11Mod2 with a SS barrel). The first where grey blaster matte SS barrels, then we ended up doing a black coating for the ...

KAC/KMC Commercial Order Update 6/6/2013

We at Knight’s Armament Company have always prided ourselves in the quality of our products. As we are still a nation at war, the primary focus of KAC is, and always has been, our US government customers and allies. The unprecedented demand for our products, in addition to government purchases, has ...

Re: 2013 762 QDC and QDC/CQB cans

Most of the new can production has been gobbled up by Government, both domestic and our Foreign allies.

The K2 is still a work in progress, we are happy with it, but we are trying to get more weight out, and still not impact performance.

Would need to be deburred/tumbled and re-chromed.

Not worth the efforts IMHO, a commercial gun is never going to need the added reliability.

We have a tolerance for upper and lower play.

If you feel its odd or wrong, please email Tom in CS, [email protected]

We are super busy at this time, questions should be asked via email, as we are not able to monitor the forums like we used to.

Re: Mk11 suppressor fitting??

Mk11 Mod0/SR-25 Rifler Suppressors are still available.

We used to have a P/N and associated cost for matching a suppressors -- IIRC it was $250 or so (keep in mind this often results in 20 or so suppressors being fired to find a good match with minimal shift).

30167 was discontinued to to crack propagation under long term suppressed fire.

Carbon Cutter Chrome Bolt Carriers are on certain versions of the SR-16's - however at this time we do not have the production ability to produce them for commercial sales.

Re: 2013 762 QDC and QDC/CQB cans

We've been working on the new QDC suppressors for quite sometime. In late 2011 We thought the design was set as we got a NSN thru Crane for the 762QDC/CQB with MARSOC on their M110K1 Carbines, however in talks with the user group, they wanted a smaller lighter can, so we keep looking at refinements ...
