Specwar 556 mounts?
I have a new Specwar 2 556 waiting on a tax stamp, and am trying to get enough mounts to cover my collection. At the moment, I have 2 trifecta (the one that came with it, and SilencerShop had one in stock at one point), but need 1 more (trifecta or not). I've been crawling the web and keeping an eye...

Re: How long to go from forms sent to pending?
According to all the NFA Tracker data, it still is about 3 weeks to a month from Forms Sent to Pending. Even with the recent rush this is the case. I wouldn't be so sure that they sent the paperwork right away. I've had a number of people contact me about their transfers and it ended up being that t...

Re: accuracy of NFA TRACKER DOT COM?
I hope this isn't digging up too dead of a thread, but I wanted to mention that I've changed the way the reporting works and updated the wait-time predictor to hopefully make the site more accurate. The WaitTimePredictor now takes the examiner into account, so it should help give you a better idea ...

Re: Specwar 556 muzzle brake mount
Can I get some info and pictures on the trifecta mount for the specwar 556? I bought one of the last specwars made by Swr before they moved. Mine is still in nfa prison but would rather have something else then the a2 mount that came with it . Thanks My new specwar came with the trifecta mount, whi...

Re: Specwar 5.56 Finally In Stock!
Mine reached my local shop about 2 weeks ago, and I have the paper in the ATF's hands! SilencerShop got a bunch in stock.
I even got the Tri-mount instead of the normal flash hider, though I'm not sure they shipped it on purpose.

As noted, I submitted my form 1 on oct 4, 2012. Is this the correct ph # to check on my status? (304) 616-4500. Is there another method, like online?? thanks in advance, troy There is unfortunately no other way to do it other than the phone call. I did some stuff a few years ago to try to get an on...

What about sporting clays? They are $10 at worst for 90 targets and are will decompose/are environmentally safe.

Re: Is Tornado Technologies out of business?
Their work is top notch, it's the long wait that is the problem. This exactly. The work it top shelf, but waiting a year or longer is just dumb to deal with them. If I was local, maybe they would treat me differently?[/quote] I didn't get my 22/45 any faster and I dropped it off in person. I guess ...

Re: Opinions/Info on NFA Tracker advertising
I just wanted to note that thanks to the suggestions here and your support, I was able to find 2 fantastic advertisers (ATF Machine Guns and Silencer Shop) that are going to fit my requirements perfectly.
Thanks for all your help, and I hope you guys get a ton of enjoyment out of NFATracker.com.

Re: Opinions/Info on NFA Tracker advertising
Thank you for the kind words everyone, I'm glad this won't be offending anyone. Maybe you could get silencer manufacturers or dealers to utilize the space, or keep it industry related. Just my .02 cents (Value may depreciate without notice  ) That is a good idea! I know the guy who does the gr...

Opinions/Info on NFA Tracker advertising
As some may know, I've been running the NFATracker website for a little more than 3 years, and in that time it has become a fairly well used website and seems to be giving people here a good amount of information. Over this time, all of the information (save login info) has been completely free and ...

Re: Please up date NFA Tracker
Updated it last night. And yes, a drop down tab for examiners, or a moderator(s) that would unify them would be nice. That site made the wait a hell of a lot easier I'm glad it helps! I put it together while waiting on my transfers! At first i didn't have any knowledge of the list, so I figure now ...

Re: Please up date NFA Tracker
I'm glad you guys are enjoying/using the site. If anyone has good stats ideas that they would like to see on the reports page, please let me know via the email contact. I keep meaning to give the site a visual overhaul (though my CSS abilities are severely lacking:) ) or clean up the examiner names ...

I'd never heard of that stuff... what does it look like? This is a clear gel that I picked up at home depot. It calls itself a synthetic wire pulling gel, and it is fantastic. It makes the HEMS just a bit louder than my Tac-65. The wax stuff is pulling gel that is usually yellow in color. The clear...

What have you used for ablative? I used some synthetic wire pulling gel, and it lasted extremely ear-safe, for about 200 rounds. I would occasionally squirt some water in it, but it would make no change, so I think the gel was working for me. It was quiet enough you could hear the bullet's travel a...

Tannerite then let the birds have a small feast. I'd have a hard time doing that to a kid though, even if they did just rape my daughter. Shooting isn't as personal as others methods could be.
