Rugged Obsidian with a Rugged 3-Lug mount is almost as short as the Silencerco Omega 9k with the Silencerco 3-Lug mount: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/woIE2S_967zxh4rkQxnqokfrvlPBMQhAw7e57cif_Fd0okrmune0nmN02Q2F9oe-rTe3-PTQrYDkofnORJLhA9l9_DnmsuzhPHDfS96AbcFcUfBhygGI3i-EBbTLuJ6LFLoDW7grNVhqIYm5j...

Per Rugged: "We do not recommend GA products for use in the Obsidian as they have stated that the Revolution is built to different specs. We have not tested them in the Obsidian, so I cannot say whether they will work or not. We’ll have our own internal 3-lug mount available in the next couple ...

Re: Griffin Armament 3-lug will also fit a ....
Enlighten us....I just asked Rugged about Octane mounts and not the GA 3lug mounts on the Obsidian. I just extrapolted that GA 3lug mounts will work on Obisidian.....so what did Rugged say regarding GA 3lug mounts on the Obsidian? There's nothing to enlighten you about. The point is if you want to ...

Per Rugged, "Yes, you can use Octane mounts with the Obsidian with no affect on the warranty." So, one could use the GA 3-Lug mount that fits the Octane with the Rugged Obsidian. That's not what Rugged said. I would ask for clarification before using the GA 3 lug mount. Enlighten us....I ...

Re: The omega 9k
Does anyone know what mounts can fit this? Is this really same back thread as the Omega and Harvester Big Bore? No, it's the same as the Octane http://www.capitolarmory.com/silencerco-octane-fixed-barrel-mount.html The Harvester, NON-BIG BORE, mounts will fit the Omega 9k...I confirmed it with Sile...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion
I prefer the before. The angled black grip looks better than the gray/green magpul. Just my aesthetics though. I also like my Glocks. The smooth functionality and total unpretentiousness. I've added laser sight to triggerguard and Meprolite tritium sights. But no cosmetics. That Magpul MOE K2+ Pist...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion
I vote get both. Scorpion SBR in work, but the MPX has been pretty nice...once you swap out the trigger and selector and add some other accessories to make it work for ya. A Multimount and the TiRant 9s have more gas blowback than a TiRant 45...absolutely love the MPX with the TiRant 45....of course...

Nice! I gotta get my barrel and rail cut.
Here is a 3-Lug adapter and a TiRant 9S...its louder than a full size can, but total OAL with the 8" barrel feels nice:

Re: Rugger Surge/Razor - do they have a direct thread mount option?
Here is a repose I got from Rugged Thanks for your email. The answer to your question is a bit of yes and no. No, we don’t manufacture a dedicated direct thread mount for the Surge. However, you can use any of our muzzle devices to allow for a direct thread application. To do this, you’d want to att...

Will you have to strip the barrel assembly down to just the barrel to get it re-threaded?

Hey Henry,
I noticed that the 762 Saker is also rated down to 7" on a 556 but it doesnt have the Hoplon blast baffle. Is the Hoplon blast baffle on the 556 Saker really needed?
