Re: Brakeout Fouling Issues
What kind of ammo are you shooting through it? Something super dirty? I leave most of the carbon on mine because it snugs up the mount. Maybe you have a super-tight mount that mates exceptionally well with your can & that's causing the problems. I've been shooting Federal 55 grain white box and...

Re: Brakeout Fouling Issues
I've got to believe this is out of the norm. I'll snap some picks and upload them later this evening but the buildup has gotten so bad that it takes about 30 pounds of torque to get the can 75% on, I haven't pushed it further than that just because I don't see the point. As a side note, the setup on...

Brakeout Fouling Issues
I'm having a bit of an issue with fouling on my 16" 5.56 AR. The Brakeout seems to be developing a lot of carbon fouling. The reason I'm posting is the fouling has gotten so bad that I was almost unable to remove my 762SDN6 from the muzzle. In fact, it took two of us to manage it. Does anyone e...

Re: Can you use a thermal scope with a suppressor?
I shoot thermal optics exclusively with silencers, and no issues whatsoever. Why you would be doing mag dumps with a thermal sight I have no idea???? But for wasting warm blooded things, you're gtg. No mag dumps aren't really my thing I just don't have any experience with the thermal optics and wan...

Can you use a thermal scope with a suppressor?
So random question, is it possible to use a thermal optic in conjunction with a suppressor on a rifle or does the suppressor create too much heat?

Re: Newbie as silencer is concerned, Virginia Fairfax County
Just to ease some concerns about Fairfax's incoming Sheriff. She informed a number of dealers that she will be singing off on NFA paperwork. So if the ATF does go through with their plans to require CLEO sign-off, those in Fairfax County wont be SOL.

Re: 15" Troy Rail on a 16" Barrel, still room to run a can?
looks good, how does it balance with all that weight forward? Without the can on it handles great, it's actually a bit lighter than it was with the 10" quad-rail I had on it previously. With the can on, it's a little nose heavy, but no more so than any other 16 incher. All in all, I am very ha...

Re: 15" Troy Rail on a 16" Barrel, still room to run a can?
I'd like to confirm for anyone wondering, that in fact you can run a 15" Troy Apex Rail on a 16" barreled AR and still have room to run one of AAC's 51T mounts with a can. One note on this though, it turns out that the 51T is only slightly smaller in diameter than the rail, so you'll have ...

I talked with a Rep. at Troy and he was confident it would work, so it's on it's way here. I'll update with some photo's of what I hope will be a working rig.

15" Troy Rail on a 16" Barrel, still room to run a can?
I am looking at replacing the rail on my AR with a Troy Alpha Rail and I am torn between the 13" and the 15". My question to you knowledgeable folks is, if I go with the 15" rail will there be room to attach my 762-SDN-6 in front of it? I think it will be really close but I thought if...

WTS: S&W Troy 10" BattleRail: lightly used - SOLD
I'm switching out the rails on my M&P 15T and I'd like to sell the 10" Troy BattleRail that it came with. It's branded as M&P but is produced by Troy and other than the markings is identical to this http://goo.gl/0ugiMx It is extremely lightly used. I think I may have been a little off ...

That's fascinating. I'd never put any thought to any of this but it makes sense. I work in DC and I can tell you that 99% of the guys I pass on the street are lucky if they could get the bar off their chests. We live in a soft society, well at least in this particular swamp.
