Thanks for the feedback. 12.5" hits the sweet spot. Way to keep the thread alive!

Yeah, I know.
Any more chopped 16 or 14.5 MRP barrels? I'd like to cut a couple down to 12.5 or 11.5.

Re: My vault door project...
I think you have been more than fair and understanding with the dealer. You asked for pictures and there have been mistakes along the way on their end. If it were me and my coin, I would ask for a refund for a product of that nature. At least have them make it right. You're going to be attached to t...

Re: Who is the best at jailbreaking and recoring an Evo-9?
I think with all the people grabbing up the last of the Evo-9's from a certain online vendor, they'll be a small surge in jailbreaking demand.

Is it just a jailbreak at this time? Or can you re-core them with "new and improved" baffles?

Re: 7.62 thread on assistance.....
All very good points, thank you very much. I really didn't think about the Harvester wasn't a hard use can versus the 300-TM, but a very valid point. My one hesitation was the Harvester being Aluminum and you just never know in the future if I were to use it on a semi-auto versus the bolt gun it was...

7.62 thread on assistance.....
Ok, I'm looking at adding a thread .30 cal to the family. I was debating between the AAC 300-TM and the Harvester. Just looking for something for my Rem 700. I don't mind swapping cans, but it's nice not too. I can get both locally for a great deal. My local dealers can match/beat any onli...

Yes, they still can get hot even with the cover.
It's especially nice when you have to re-tighten the can. You don't have to reach for the Ove-glove. Another thing is that it may not fit in your molle pouch anymore.

I'd definitely buy a 10/22 integral. I like to see some Mini centerfire cans like the Mini4 or Surefires Micro/Minis.

Re: How could AAC improve the Element 2?
For me, the Element 2 goes head to head with the Sparrow, Spectre II, and Kodiak (to a lesser degree). I'd throw in the new Gemtech G-core 22 can in there....but we'll have to see when they start hitting store/customers shelves. I think the Element 2 gets a slight knock compared to the Sparrow and S...
