Yes the large and all that was trimmed is that at the bottom you see around the magazine on both sides.
A small blade X-acto was used.

One Key Note
As a note during this project with all the vendors I had one unpleasant experience. That was with Kenton Industries who I had ordered both turrets at the same time. Web site was down for online orders so I had to phone it in. A month later after a couple of reminder emails I received a package...wit...

Re: My HCS MK12 MOD 1
Thank you :) Not sure, but if I stopped and added everything up I might go into a coma.... Not counting bipod, rings, POD-LOC...going off memory here goes Upper - $1630 with shipping/insurance included in that....if I had added the correct KAC backup sights it would be an additional $380.......

Thanks Ron! That it does and gets a lot of attention from strangers. It's a good ice breaker when meeting new shooters at ranges.

Thanks copenhagen - It can happen as the very first SMG I ever fired back in the 80's as a teen was a HK MP5K and I swore then one day I would own my very own.

Thanks 700 ...I ordered 1000 (500 Lawman and 500 Fiocchi) rounds of 147gr this week and plan on making some vids soon. Weather has been really crappy but was able to get a few vids last weekend of the V51 in full auto. On YouTube my nick is SturmAKS74U and all vids have Vector 51 or V51 in it. Be su...

Re: F/A HK sear pack on E-bay??
There's registered trigger packs as well like the RDTS registered trigger pack I own. I held out a long time until I found a reg trigger pack instead of just a reg sear. It's nice just having to swap out hammer/spring and extractor between the 3 calibers it's registered in instead of sending out sem...

Re: AR SBR in 9mm
I'm along the lines of Bender....my 5" Tros barrel if shot without my Trident just turns the Daniel Defense tube into a muzzle brake. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/SturmGrenadier/9mm%20AR/9mmARRP.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/SturmGrenadier/9mm%20AR/9mmARRPFrontEnd.jpg htt...

Purchased a German made 45C and I love this pistol. The HEMS2 functions flawlesly with it. #28 LP is installed and I shoot 147gr exclusively whether I have the Trident installed or not.
No function problems so far.

Re: RDTS MP5K-N
Thanks
Sounds very pleasing to the ear to me. Those who have heard it says it sounds like a paintball gun. I don't know how accurate that comparison is though.
I'll try to get some video of the K and my Vector 51 (trigger pack is reg in all 3 calibers) soon.

RDTS MP5K-N
I purchased a Hk SP89 that was converted to a MP5K-N by RDTS using a Urbach barrel from a gentleman in FL. At the same time I tracked down a RDTS registered trigger pack from a dealer who had already sold the host K he had for it separately. Received my stamp in November and haven't been able to los...

Trident and MP5K-N
I received my SP89 that was converted into a MP5K-N using a 3 lug Urbach barrel. Could wait to mount my Trident on the K but when I tried it wouldn't mount due to the adapter hitting the cocking tube end cap. If I remove the end cap the Trident mounts just fine. If it is left on the 3 lug adapter hi...

Re: HK 51 Stock Mods
I own a V51 SBR and will tell you it is more fun to shoot with a A2 solid stock than the A3 collapsible stock. Like you I bought the pistol and SBR it. The A3 stock was easy to find at the time and I really had to search for the A2 and ended up getting a tip from a friend that an A2 stock was for sa...
