Both companies represent the best in customer service and professional integrity. Silencerco has changed the rules of the game for the suppressor industry by acquiring a successful company while allowing the company to retain its identity and product line. This model has been used to great success ...

Re: SWR acquired by silencerco?
When I need my Warlock cleaned out, who is going to do that? SilencerCo or SWR, and will the price for that service go up or down?

Who will be the first to make an M&P22 adapter
Looks like the S&W M&P22 comes with a threaded barrel. Which manufacturer has or will be making an adapter?

Re: Severely corroded Multimount (This can't be good)
Any water based medium ( like wire pulling gel ) is expressly mentioned in the owners manual. The baffles are not anodized and shooting water in it can cause corrosion. Looks like we have our answer here. Or not, called Gemtech yesterday and they said they've never seen corrosion like this even wit...

Re: Severly corroded Multimount (This can't be good)
I soaked it in Kroil for 6 hours. I think what you're seeing is the oil mixed with crud.Ben B. wrote:So is that corrosion, or the solids left from the gel when it dries up?
It looks to me like what's left in the gel after the water is gone.

I had no idea wire pulling gel was water based. I figured that's why it was so popular.DustyJacket wrote:Any water based medium (like wire pulling gel) is expressly mentioned in the owners manual.

What kind of grease were you using?
I clean mine withing 24 hours of shooting it, and have no similar problems.
I shot it wet a couple of times in the 1st 250 rounds and then cleaned it. I can't remember if I shot it wet after that, pretty sure I did, but can't recall.

Only rounds through it were either Remington 147gr or Winchester White Box 147gr, no corrosive ammo was ever used.

Severly corroded Multimount (This can't be good)
I bought the Multimount last year during the tax day promotion. I've only shot about 1,000 rounds through it. I cleaned the LID after the first 250 rounds and did not clean it for the last 750 rounds. I have not shot it in quite some time due to the birth of my first child. I took it out of the safe...

I was wonder how the vendors feel when not too many people show up. I don't know the head count, but very small compare to the last one in GA. Can you expand on this? I heard it was not very well attended, maybe 600 people tops. And based on the Facebook pics I'd say that's a fair estimate. Vendor t...

Sounds to me like you need to find another dealer, one who will actually recommend something other than an inferior product.

Is the iron sight version drilled for a scope mount? I'd like the flexibility to do either. yes, it comes with the regular Ruger Weaver style rail. The sighted version does not come with a rail. Non threaded 22/45's come with the rail. I'm assuming since Ruger also sells the threaded model w/o sigh...

Yes, only difference from the railed version is that it is not drilled under the barrel.robpiat wrote:Is the iron sight version drilled for a scope mount? I'd like the flexibility to do either.

Re: Just bought a 22/45 threaded barrel model. Just thought
Ed's Guns had the Mark III w/threaded barrel, one with sights, and the other with rails, both for 329 each at the Dixie Claissics gunshow in Charlotte this weekend. Can't decide which one to buy as I would like to know how much of the sight picture a 1" dia suppressor would cover. wragarand, c...
