Re: Salt

So important is salt that it was used as currency way back when.
Feed store salt for $5 per 100lbs? Not where I've been. I will be looking when I go to the big city though.

Re: Need help deciding on a new pocket pistol

My Sig 232 is too big for pocket carry. It's either going to be a Colt 1903 or S&W 642. The 642 fits my Wrangler pocket better that the 1903. I do not have a pocket holster for either as yet.

Just renewed for mine today. Way ahead of time but wanted to make sure. Then the lady told me it's only 4 or 5 weeks on renewals.

My best efforts will be to get home. I'm set up so-so but it's home. I've done enough living under a tarp.

Opened the two hives today. One is still weaker than the other. Both hives Bee-Pro patties are gone from last week. I gave them each two today, as I'll be gone next weekend. It was 51 degrees at the house today. I'm still expecting to get blasted with winter again. I was in California couple weeks a...

Bees

Checked both hives out today. It was a surprising 47 degrees here today. Too windy to open hives, but I did anyway. One hive is teeming with bees, in the brood box, and the upper box. The other has few bees in the upper box, although it's still heavy with full foundation. Really a sharp contrast to ...
