Yes, GaLEO asked for me; what did it cost? Even just a ball-park? I believe he said um, about Seven-Fitty  Nifty!! (I wonder why no one ever tried to put an integral on a Marlin camp carbine? that would be a neat .45 :D The camp carbines have been done before. http://www.srtarms.com/camp.htm I...

Well I came across some burris 135mm rings and they fit perfectly around the tube. I opted with a vertical grip for now but will probably end up with more of a traditional looking foregrip. http://www.tarbox.net/ar15/45Encore-hand.jpg I also switched out the red-dot for a barska 2x version. I was thinking of something similar with scope mounts but to use more of a standard looking handguard with half of the mount embedd...

Range Report..................... Put several types of 230gr through it and all I can say is wow. Just a pop and then the bullet hitting the berm. Was dead on at 100yds, we beat up on a milk jug pretty well. Is much, much quieter then my SOS-45 can. Need to come up with something for a front handgua...

Re: Buddy's new toy
So, I just got to check out my buddy's new toy. He had Lee Minor do a custom job that involved a Encore .45 ACP barrel and a little wait. The end result is some serious stainless sweetness. Check it out. http://www.tarbox.net/ar15/45Encore.JPG Thanks for posting about my new toy czexybeast, just pi...

I have 2 P-22's and I think both are also the L series. They have both had approx 5,000 rounds through each. One has an Outback (upgraded) and the other has a Seahunter. Both pistols have functioned 99% from the begining and I would say the other 1% is due to crud build-up during heavy shooting days...

Re: Take Apart
When you get your Wheatly can back first disassemble and coat the baffles and threaded end caps with High Temp Copper based thread release agent. It is messy s--t, it is available at auto repair shops and is used for things like exhaust manifold bolts to keep them from siezing, it will keep your ca...
