Re: 51T Concussion Reduction Device like the FERFRANS CRD
I gave up on waiting for the blast shield.
While I had a good experience with recent warranty work I think I'm done buying anything new from AAC

M4-2000 back fom repair
Sent my m4-2000 in to have the latch replaced. It wasn't totally worn down but I was tring to be proactive and get it replaced before it was. They received my can last Friday. Fast forward to today and my can is sitting on my kitchen counter when I arrived home with a new latch and looking brand new...

Why would you need to dip or tumble a center fire canLawBob wrote:It's great but not much better than an all aluminum can. Can't dip. Can't tumble.

Re: AAC Ti-Rant 9mm...
Would the 3 lug be the best mount for running a Ti-rant 9 on a 9mm AR I use a thread on Ti-Rant. No problems. http://i897.photobucket.com/albums/ac180/continuity/9mmAR_zpse4e6df44.jpg Nice! I assume your threads are cut down? I have a 6951 with factory threads and was trying to find out if they are...

Re: 22 suppressor help - to element or not.
That was going to be my next question. Which host to get! Seems like the Savage FVSR is the way to go. Would it come threaded for the Spectre or would I need an adapter? The savage comes threaded but you will need a spacer. The threads are longer like on an ar. At least on mine they are. http://i99...

Re: Element Rear Endcap Upgrade
Got my Element upgraded. Cost was 125$ which included shipping both ways and a refinish in cerakote. It provides a better gripping surface and I think it looks better then the original cap when mounted. Sorry about the crappy phone pics. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l302/rgb03/20130531_221357_z...

I dont understand why the op bought this gun if the welds looked like they were done by someone that he would fire. I think it would be safe to assume that if you are a top welder the first thing you would look at when you pick something up would be the the welds if there were any.

Re: AAC Element end-cap upgrade, Go or No Go?
I was returning my Prodigy and was in contact with John H. and asked him that on the end of one of my emails. He said if it happened, it would be closer to the summer. Here is his email response: " We are considering an new backend for the Element to make it the Element2 styling. But honestly ...

The element is a great can I have one and love it. It sounds gret on pistols and rifles also.
While I don't own one everyone raves about the sparrow. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Re: CCI Sub Sonics - Where to Buy
going to sound crazy I know. but cci standard sounds better to me then the cci subs out of my savage fv-sr with an element. just ordered 5000 more from sg ammo for 264 shipped. cheaper then getting it local to me for 24.99 per 500 plus tax.

The design was theirs, they should make it right for a lot less $$$! :wink
I feel the the same but that will never happen. I hate the cap so much that I am willing to fork up some cash to get rid of it.

Big thumbs up to the Silencer Store
Just picked up a Savage fv-sr today. The threads are just alittle to long at .475 to .5 and the spacers you can buy are just alittle to wide. Just got of the phone with the Silencer Store and he is going to make me one up for me that is the right size free of charge. Thats pretty good customer servi...

Re: Ran into a snag
I just had my form 1 kicked back because I put my first intial instead of my full first name for the maker. I spoke to the examiner and she said once she gets it back corrected it will be approved. so I would have to assume its going to take another week or two.
