Re: Kriss SBR reliablility
I'm currently looking into buying a Kriss SBR because I think they're cool and innovative plus it will give me something else to put my Osprey on when I get it. BUT... From talking to dealers and ranges that rent them they seem to have alot of reliablity problems. Seems about 50/50 as far as satisf...

Re: XM576E1 40mm buckshot round
This is 27 pellets. 3x a 12 gauge. Yes, at ~150-200 times the cost of the 12 gauge per round fired. One of these days, I'm going to start rolling my own. I want to see how various things work with my powder charge and payloads. The folks on Grog's site seem to find creative uses for all sorts of sc...

Re: silencerresearch testing the NANO !
I demo'ed an early Nano at the shop when I was passing through. All numbers aside, it works and works well IMHO. Does it have the best numbers? I don't really care because it works and works well. Is it quieter then my Evo-9 or Trident-9? Not likely? Is it better or worse? Depends on where and how y...

Correct. Mine also charges $50.....when I hear stories of guys having to pay $100-$150 I cringe....what a fucking rip. Not really a rip if you have a good dealer that helps you avoid bad choices. ;) Hell I know more about suppressors than my C3 dealer, he admited it. If I want to play "s...

How about a little more info. I sent an email to the maker, havn't heard back yet. So I already have the can, an SBR as well. Is it just a straight barrel/bolt swap? Or is there more to it? I see the side chargers, do I need a whole new upper? Thanks,,, The side charging upper is to get away from t...

Benelli's gently used are well under $1K (slightly over generally with a $200 stamp and SureFire forearm).flight954 wrote:Benelli and the Tromix Saiga are out of the price range. I can work over an 1100 or 11-87 for under $1000

Re: AK-74 suppressor
I just bought a CIA AK-74 chambered in 5.45x39 and am trying to find out if anyone makes a suppressor to fit the threads on the front sight where the flash suppressor screws on? I'm thinking I will have to have it custom made but thought I might check with the Experts just in case there is one out ...

I hope you don't mind if I post myself. What you are asking for is exactly what we do. BWE Firearms, have a look at our website bwefirearms.com. Sounds like you want a drilling with the barrels but back. The "moon" clips are the hard part.strobro32 wrote: Personally, I want a 6 inch three rifled barrel shottie AOW, O/U/U, one trigger action, hammerless, OOO "moon" clips that hold three shells, no sights and hard wood burl grips.

Re: Can I AOW a shot gun in Indiana
Having a discussion at work here and I know our state does not allow SBS. If my understanding is correct when the stock is removed from the shot gun and a pistol grip is installed it is now an AOW. I am not understanding the IN code that covers SBS and if I can take a shotty, install pistol grip an...

Anything against a Benelli? At ~$425 for LEO Remington 870 I'd be hard pressed to go with any auto-loader at much greater expense.flight954 wrote:If someone has one, please post pics. I'm tossing around the set up

How do you verify it has been neutralized? Safer is better but, without verification who knows if it is any safer?Bowen1911 wrote:I thought saturating it with epsom salts neutralizes it. I still dispose of it hazmat, but i feel better about making it less deadly.

Take the "dip" to Haz-mat or your local hazardous waste day. Creating it is easy, neutralizing not so much.Ben B. wrote:PM sent

Worse than the cost to send it back is the fact that I will not have access to some of my primary weapons the entire time all three are gone.
