See what I mean? They rock(Weight, Size, Price, Performance).

I'm planning on another, but it may be a bit before I can budget it in.

Good deal. I've got a few things prioritized in my budget at the moment, but another Femur S is on my future list.

I propose one throat-punch a month. Each citizen of Chicago gets to throat-punch Rahm once per month.

That's more than fair.

Re: Drunk cop shoots stranger 6 times

I'm against drunks with guns.
I'm also against the assumption that being in a bar (or any place that serves alcohol) makes one drunk.
I'm against the assumption that laws magically correct behavior.

Therefore, I'm for carrying concealed everywhere I go and not getting drunk in public.

Re: We don't call them "drones."

They asked if I wanted to take the General ... I could probably pass it with a day of study but then I would need to grow a beard and wear sandles with socks and stuff to fit in. I think there was a test question about that. Re: We don't call them "drones."

Passed the Technician exam tonight with 32 correct. Not bad for deciding to get it two days ago. They said I should have the license in a week. Did you attempt the general? Where I took mine, they encouraged everyone to at least try the other exams too. I took all 3, but hadn't studied for the extr...

None of them need code anymore. I got my general and tech at the same time a weekend ago.

Re: We don't call them "drones."

Just passed four practice exams in a row without studying, so will take my license test tomorrow. There are enough common-sense questions that you can pass even if you don't know the specific stuff. Yeah. Ohm's law + frequency to wavelength, then hit the practice exams and tech + general are pretty...

Re: We don't call them "drones."

My laziest use so far is to send it 500 yards down range, have it hover in front of a target while I make zero-in corrections. Hmm $1000 is cheaper than some of those wireless range camera solutions I've seen. With your ham license, you can put a range camera together (and use it legally) for a fra...

I'm building a fixed-wing FPV plane. It's been several months and given the small intervals that I get to work on it, it'll be several more months before it's airborn. I'm assuming that the OP is experiencing the problem that he described and it's not just theory (but it may be).
Based on that premise, my guess is that something is going on between the gas key and charging handle.

Re: charging handle hanging

A simple trouble-shooting technique is to "Frog the parts." Swap just the bolt carrier. Does it still occur? Swap just the charging handle. Does it still occur? This should isolate the component. Now, put the isolated component into another rifle. Did the problem follow the isolated part? ...
