Re: 300 whisper finished

In before the non-rotating pin haters. Might not a heavier BCG and buffer slow the unlocking of the bolt, reducing port noise as well? It might help you eek out just a little more 'quiet'. Bla, Ive got non-rotating pins on all my ARs. Yes, the heavier BCG should reduce a little noise. I went with t...

Re: 300 whisper finished

Took it to the range today and got 20 rounds through it before the rain rolled in. She shot 100% reliable, locked back on last round, and grouped great. I think I may need to replace the ultralite BC with a standard one b/c the bullets are ejecting so hard they are hitting the brass deflector and ge...

Anyone put a 240 grain SMK though a noveske 10.5" 1:8 twist barrel? Did it stabilize and what powder/weight did you use?

Re: 300 whisper finished

Haven't shot it yet.

Need to get some 300 whisper dies.

I ordered 3 boxes of corbon sub-sonic, so we will see how it shoots when they come in.

I would use a standard carrier though, and an H2 buffer. The extra mass is what, along with the spring, has the momentum/omphf to strip a round from a full magazine and force it into a dirty chamber.
I may have to change out the buffer, but I figure I will give this one a try first.

Re: My First! AAC Element! Pics!

Take my advice. Put some blue loctite on the endcap where you attach the suppressor to the AR22. If not, it might come apart inside that barrel shroud and that will be a real pain in the ass to fix.

Thompson Machine Operative B

Well, my Operative B form 4 finally came in. :) The wait wasn't that bad, 90 days.

Anyway, the rifle did not ship with a take-down tool so I have no way to clean the baffles. Any idea how to get in touch with the guys at TM? Ive already sent PMs.

Thanks.
