Re: Do you own a watch ?
Not anymore. Once the battery in mine died I never replaced it. I. Found that I wasn't constantly looking at my wrist wishing time away. Without a constant reminder of the time right in front of my face I find boring or difficult tasks to be much more tolerable. I have my phone if I NEED to know the...

If I remember correctly this will only work with the factory trigger group. Is this still the case? I have the volquartsen group, is the lock compatible?

Great topic! I love drinking single malts and have a special affinity towards Islay scotches. Laphroig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg Corryvecken are my favorites (right now) Mmmmmmmm scotch.

Re: survival bag
Sunscreen is good advice. If you get stuck somewhere without easy shade it will make it much more bearable. Also, I have to wonder how well the snickers are going to hold up if they go through the melt and reconsolidate cycle a few times before you end up eating them.

I stopped responding to this thread quite a while ago because I don't like to discuss science with people who aren't scientists. Fulman, I think that you and I are on the same page and I agree with your input to this thread. Well said!

Re: How old is the Earth?
That is almost like saying that the jury is still out on if the Earth is round or not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_the_Earth Well I am not suggesting it is 6000 years old, but if it was 1 billion or 10 billion, yeah I think that is possible. Odds of it being 4.5 billion,as scientists claim,...

Re: How old is the Earth?
To the young earthers I ask... where are the fossils of animals that are still around? With the exception on the coelacanth, there are no creatures currently around in he fossil record. This is incorrect. Quite a few animals are alive today that can be found throughout the fossil record. Stromatoli...

Yeah it sucks. Each issue recycles the same "get ripped abs", "how to not eat like a fatass" and "super badass going to get you ripped workout" articles. If you read one you've read them all.

Re: gunbroker auction "non restricted" G18 slide assembly
It's a replacement part unregulated for a glock 18 factory machinegun, it will not fit any other Glock you might have, if you try to make it fit without papers then there would be a problem. From the price it is bringing being more than a legitimate user could buy and entire Glock 18 for I suspect ...

I see no problem with what he did. He bought blanket tickets and used them as such. The airline shouldn't sell limitless tickets assuming that no one would take advantage of them. I do agree that there's more to this than what was published in the article. I'd like to know the whole story but certai...

Slip on muzzle threads
Some years ago at Clyde's Armory I saw a 77/22 that had a "slip on" muzzle brake adapter(1/2x28 threads) that wrapped around the front sight and used two (I think) nuts somehow to lock the thing in place. This item allowed them to screw on a suppressor without having the barrel threaded. D...

A little update. I got a Steroid 392 from Tim Mcmurray at mac 1 airguns and I love this gun. Fully pumped it is loud but shooting at 6-7 pumps is fine. I've been shooting the s--t out of this thing. Personally, I prefer the pneumatic to a springer but someone who doesn't want to pump should take tha...

Re: Just signed up for an appleseed event
Ive been to one Appleseed shoot and loved it. I got very good training but obviously the quality you receive will depend on the instructors present. I shot. 223. You will use about 500 rounds so shoot what makes financial sense to you. Bring enough mags (5 or so) and a comfy mat as you'll spend a lo...
