The details say it was in Miami. It looks like a Maxim 9. Anyone else want to confirm? Maybe a Taser???

Re: Safety Harbor 50 BMG SHTF
I've got one of their 8" 870 AOWs and fit, finish, and customer service are first rate. Although I've never handled their 50 BMG rifle, I'd recommend the company.

Re: Smokin: Salvo Barrel Length Requrement
I did swap the PG for a Shockwave Raptor birds head grip and it is much more comfortable to shoot. The PG just plain stings! It is a blast to shoot.AKDOC wrote:Im waiting on my stamp for my SHF 870 Keg 12. How do you like yours? Do you have the birds head grip on yours?

Smokin: Salvo Barrel Length Requrement
So this is why I cannot put a Salvo 12 on my SHF 8" 870? The ring of death may be too much for it. Captured with a GoPro 3 at 60 frames per second. http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/zz183/StoutTheDog/Other%20Stuff/Smokin%202_zpsl7desvh1.jpg http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/zz183/StoutTheDog/...

FN SLP Competition and the Salvo Remington Adapter
The Remington choke adapter threaded right into the SLP. I was under the impression that the Rem chokes would extend out the end of the barrel or Win choke guns like the SLP. How do I check it before running some rounds through it.. http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/zz183/StoutTheDog/2015-01-131358...

Re: Choke Threading the Serbu Super Shorty
The barrel is very thick where the threads will be and I'm not sure what thin wall chokes would offer. I did hear back from a shop in CA that they would thread the barrel. It may be dependent upon the location of the forcing cone. I'm planning on adding a Salvo-12 to my collection and the Super Shor...

Choke Threading the Serbu Super Shorty
Does anyone know if there is enough room to thread the 7.5" Remington 870 barrel for choke tubes. I've heard yes and no.

Re: Glock 26 host
I tried the G26 with a Lonewolf threaded barrel, it does not cycle with a Infiniti attached. It cycles far enough to reset the trigger, but the spent brass stays put in the chamber. 147 gr handload, Accurate 7, 6.0 grains. Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks. Accurate 7 is a slower burning powder. I run...

Re: AAC 762SDN6 & 300 WM
I swear that when I purchased my N6, the AAC webpage specifically indicated that 300WM was fine. It has been changed. I've been running it on my 26" GA Precision 300WM for a few years now. No issues and hearing safe. I really do like it! http://www.silencertalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&...

Re: Can I use AAC Cyclone 308 Suppressor with other calibers
I understand your position. When I purchased my 762SND-6 the webpage indicated 300 WM was OK. That statement was removed at some point. AAC did confirm later that 300 WM from a 24"+ barrel was OK. Just contact them and see what they say.

Re: Glock 17 gen 3 cycling with Octane 9 HD
You may try to cycle it manually. With the can attached, press your offhand palm against the back of the slide to prevent it from cycling. After the shot, cycle by hand to see what may be causing it to hang. I think I have a bit heavier spring in my 34 with a threaded 17L barrel. I just remember see...

Ooops. I did have the decimal in the wrong place. The cost per can is actually $4,871.06 per can. Now that's more like it!

Re: Any recommendations for a 300 Win Mag screw on supressor
Is the Harvester thread mount adapter clocked with shims? I just don't have the option to store my 300 WM rifle with the can attached and keeping a shim pack floating around with the can doesn't seem like a great idea. I cannot find any info on the ASR mount. Although I did find the pics of the Spec...

Re: Any recommendations for a 300 Win Mag screw on supressor
I run the 762SDN-6 on my 300WM but if I did it again I'd get a screw on can. QD is nice, but lockup seems to change with carbon buildup. I need to start looking also.

Re: Subsonic 9mm ammo??
I haven't found any 9mm above 145 gr that goes supersonic in either my Glock 34 or 10" UZi SMG. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. 147 gr WWB seems to work in all of my suppressed application just fine. But I've taken to loading 155 gr ball to just 1025 fps out of the glock 34 and it stays righ...

Re: Terrible issue on supressed AR
I have run an AAC 762SDN-6 on an 8" HK53 with no smoke at all. S&B ammo. Maybe the larger volume is what it takes. Don't have a dedicated 556 can. I've got a video around here somewhere.

Re: Specific can for an FN FAL L1-A1?
My FAL suppresses just fine. Gas on or gas off. (karate kid)
I did have the barrel shortened to 17.5" and threaded 9/16RH. The AAC 51 tooth adapter works great.

Re: Change your adjustable gas blocks for suppressed use?
I've adjusted the gas system on my FAL for use without the can. 17" barrel with stock gas system. It runs fine with the can and no adjustment. I've also turned the gas off and cycled manually. It sounds about the same. Probably just the SS crack. Videos below. Gas on: http://www.youtube.com/wat...
