Re: 28y Man Tried for Murder after Victim Dies of Skin Cance

If the end result is death and it can be directly attributed to the heinous act
of setting someone on fire.....then I support the prosecution. However, the
burden of proof would be GREAT and it would have to be in a juvenile court
or its a NO GO in my opinion.

Re: 28y Man Tried for Murder after Victim Dies of Skin Cance

My ONLY problem with the case is that it should be tried
in juvenile court. The actions were done by a 13 year old.
We cannot prosecute someone as an adult for things they
did when they were a kid.....if so, then I am in trouble. :|

My bet is the Trek or Trek T. If so your 5.56 needs will be met with a great Tax Free suppressor.

SELLING OUT OF THE 300 BLK.....Larue Rail and F.U.G.

Well I think I am done tinkering with the 300 BLK. Best to contact me via IM here or via email at brd556@gmail.com for quick response. I am parting out the following from a TOP TIER upper. All of it was assembled as a 300 BLK SBR and I decided I was done tinkering with another caliber. It was assemb...

Re: 22Sparrow Upgraded

overton, I personally think I'd much rather have these upgraded s/s Sparrows than the all steel ones. At 6.5 oz vs 5.2oz thats a solid 20% reduction in weight due the aluminum tube. I see no disadvantage of the well protected serialized aluminum tube unless you wanna use it as a hammer  Or if ...

Re: 22Sparrow Upgraded

overton, congrats :D Was your aluminum sparrow freshly cleaned or was the 400-500 round gunk still in it when you compared it to the fresh s/s sparrow? I find my 22 cans quieter when they are carpeted with gunk after a few hundred shots, yet louder when freshly cleaned. I had given it a pretty good...

Re: 22Sparrow Upgraded

I waited all day for the UPS man to arrive, just HOPING that my upgraded Sparrow would arrive. I knew it would need a signature and I am working tomorrow. About 5pm I gave up as UPS is normally in my driveway by about 2-3pm if they are coming. About 6:30 tonight the "Big Brown Truck-O-Love"...

upgraded as well.

Re: -->--> WE NEED THESE <--<--

Somehow I have managed to load thousands of rounds without a case gauge. Yes, I know its not an absolute NEED, so maybe I overstated. The only time I had a problem was with the Sellier & Bellot brass. I have loaded nearly 1000 since with no problems. But it would be nice to have one.....so I as...

-->--> WE NEED THESE <--<--

EVERY SINGLE 300 Blackout hand loader needs to request that the following companies back us up. Wilson (or someone) needs to make us a case gauge. We really need this because NOT ALL 5.56 brass is compatible with 300 BLK. I had some Sellier & Bellot brass cut down and sized. It all looked great ...

Re: Diffs between 300 blackout and Whisper

I have found that Sellier & Bellot brass has a neck of .336~.338 when a .308 slug is pushed in.
I found this out the hard way. I had to pull the slugs on about 50 of them after a very unsuccessful
venture to my local range.

Re: Share your 300 Blackout Loads here>

I loaded up some Hornady 130 Spire Points today. I was very confused about what to do for an OAL. I ended up loading them to a 2.050" length, but that wasn't good either. The bullet doesn't even make it down into the body of the case. It is about 90% down into the neck. In order to get the base...

Yes, they will have a step to run your finger over to feel if it is go or no. Are there any of these available anywhere. I need to get my hands on one of there full length case gauges. I contacted Wilson and they are "looking into it" which could mean anything. Aaron, did you guys get a b...

Hadn't thought about the standard twist for 30 carbine being so slow, so it would have to be custom barrel.....getting less interesting. What about the case design on it's own as a custom project for subsonics, is there really any downside to 30 carbine? I realize from a marketing standpoint it wou...

Re: Buying used cans?

Once I pay the tax on a suppressor, I don't think I would ever sell it. There would be to much of a penalty involved. You have to consider the 20%-30% or so hit that you would take on the can plus the loss of the $200 tax......not worth it. As for buying one used....sure if I got a good enough deal....

Re: 300 BLK brass

Up till now I have been doing load development on sub sonic ammo. So only loading 5 or 10 at a time. Well my load is nailed down at 1030 fps and running perfectly. So, today I did my first "mass loading" of 300 BLK. I loaded 445 rounds of 220 SMK subs in Brad's Warehouse brass. I am loadin...

I wouldn't shoot them....but I am kinda paranoid for very short OAL.
You never know what kind of pressure you will have that short.

I live in NV where open carry is completely legal. I still choose to carry concealed. I do open carry when I coming or going to the range or a hunting trip. In those situations that I do open carry, I am not afraid to want into stores and such with my gun on my belt. I get "looks" from tim...

I have a 10.5'' SBR in 5.56mm, but I am contemplating buying a 6.8mm upper, with a barrel under 16''. Since my SBR lower is registered as a 5.56mm, would that make it illegel to attach a 6.8mm SBR upper to it? If so, I assume I would have to buy a new lower and register it as my 6.8mm SBR to avoid ...

I had a correction on my first transfer sent back for the same reason. It was that I left part of my trust name off in one spot. If your trust is named "xxxxx revocable living trust", then you must put the COMPLETE trust name on every form. You cannot just put the "xxxxx Trust" o...

Re: Noveske 10.5" Switchblock issue?

Well I tried one round and it would not lock back. I tried a different bolt carrier group from a older gun that has never had an issue. I swapped buffers from H2 to H and still did not get lock back. Could it be that the suppressor being a 30 cal. is just not producing enough back pressure to fully...
