Re: Basic questions about suppressor use indoors
I have shot a sig 226 and a Spanish destroyer worth a tirant 9 indoors. We usually shot wet and it is incredible. I would compare it to a plate dropping.

Re: Surefire Suppressor Buying Advice
I'm sure I read it somewhere, could be one of those internet rumors. Logically thinking about it, it seems like it could make sense (smaller bullet, bigger hole, less air "captured" and slowed). To what extent, I really have no idea I started thinking the 762 when I did some research and ...

Re: Surefire Suppressor Buying Advice
I have not heard the 762RC specifically, but .30 Cal cans do a great job on smaller calibers. To my ear a lot of them sound better than their dedicated 556 models.

Re: Nolo Says Don't Create A Gun Trust With Their Products
The fear mongering really gets old. In my opinion it is just another symptom of an endemic problem. There are too many lawyers and too few jobs for them. Know someone who wants to go to law school? Have them look at the job board and placement rates at the law schools they are accepted at before mak...

The one feature I think it lacks is ease in taking it apart and putting it back together. The sound performance, size, and weight are all perfect.

Re: Just for Fun - Speculation on SWR / Silencerco's Next ..
Nice people at SWR and Silencerco. The only suppressors I've owned have been an Octane 9HD and a Sparrow. Both outstanding and their customer service was excellent. I recommend them to customers pretty regularly. Look forward to reading about what they come up with next. RonA Whatever they come up ...

Re: AAC at SHOT
Couple things here SR5 and SR7 are badass. A TON better than the cans we showed in 2012 that bared the same name. These are the most durable, lightest, quietest and most accurate fast attach silencers that we have ever tested. Ranger 3 is a steal at $600. The idea behind the 556-SD was to build an ...

Re: Transfer from individual stamp to a Trust
I am also thinking about transferring items held as an individual to a trust to allow family members access without my presence. I've heard horror stories of the ATF invalidating trusts. What happens when a trust is invalidated? With a normal trust the ownership reverts back to the previous owner. ...

The quietest .30 caliber suppressor I've heard are the Ops Inc (now Allen Engineering) cans.

Re: SWR Specwar 762
Are the baffles made from the same alloy that is in the Saker? Do you all have plans to update the 556 specwar with the same material? Also, are these shipping soon or will it be a year from now before they actually start to hit dealer shelves? Both the Specwar 762 and 556's baffles are now made fr...

Re: $1800 762SDN-6??
I have had zero issues getting cans instock. I didnt ask about your ability to get cans in stock. Let's say, hypothetically speaking, you could not get another can to sell for 6 months or a year. Based on your profits from the store that result from silencer sales how bad would that impact the fina...

Re: $1800 762SDN-6??
So People are first time buyers and don't know much about the business. I know the profits are pretty high for most if they sell them at msrp so going 700 over that is pretty bad. Actually it's not. The margin on cans even at MSRP is not that great. I must have a different price list than you. What...

I've seen several for sale at that price. That's over 1000.00 more than I paid for mine?? Is that just panic price? Panic, insanity, call it what you will. Going into 2013 I had five SDN6's on my shelf the first of the year at very competitive prices. When it became 4, I raised the price. I got $10...

Re: Is there enough difference to justify a second can?
The Cyclone will be quieter than the N6, but the main advantage will be on your precision rifle. The cyclone is a much better choice for precision work than the N6. I have a 762SD but just bought an Allen Engineering AE30 can for use on my precision rifles. It's up to you if it is worth it or not.
