I practically stole (price-wise, of course) a Gemtech SOS-45 and am very much interested in seeing what SRI can do in the way of a re-core and jailbreaking.

My only host right now for my Outback II is a Ruger Mk I. I am currently converting a 10.3" AR upper to a dedicated .22LR platform, but having fired a suppressed Savage bolt action a few weeks back, I see one in my future.

I have wondered about this as well, as my Outback II tends to back off my Ruger Mk I. I never thought about plumbers tape (something I use regularly with, believe it or not, bagpipes,) but I have thought about an O-ring. How about putting an O Ring between the aft end of the suppressor and the flat...
