Charlie, I agree. Hard to tell which component is off.

Suppressor alignment on SCAR 17 Heavy
I am trying to get a muzzle brake style suppressor adapter to align square on a SCAR 17 HEAVY. I have not been successful in getting the can to align properly. I have tried a few different adapters for multiple suppressors and an AAC Cyclone direct thread on for comparison and I can not get them to ...

Re: Will the 762 Mini fit the 6.8 SPC MB68K mount?
I just spoke with Anthony at Surefire and he said the 762 Mini will fit the MB68K 6.8 SPC brake. He also confirmed that a 762 can would fit on the 6.8 and 5.56 brakes/flash hiders but the 5.56 cans will not fit on the 6.8 and 7.62 adapters just as you would expect. Thanks, Darin Reiss Black Hills Ar...

Re: AAC 9" 300BLK upper with 8" URX III
I received one of these 9" uppers with this new rail yesterday from Randall at Allen Arms and I really like the new rail. My wife and oldest daughter (my little deer hunter) also really liked the smaller diameter where they gripped it and the balance. Very nice! I have sold several of the origi...

Yes, these suppressors are for the HK MP5SD barrels or similar barrels as occasionally made for the M16/9mm.Twinsen wrote:This is a silencer utilizing a threaded barrel, correct?

Has anyone chrono'ed both the AAC 9" and 12.5" barrels side by side to see what the velocity gain is from going up to a 12.5" barrel?

Here are the weights of a few SD cans for anyone interested: HK MP5SD suppressor - 1# 3.0 oz (has maybe 1 oz or more of carbon in expansion chamber. I will clean and reweigh) Coharie CA94SD suppressor - 2# 11.4oz (this is one HEAVY can - this weighs several oz more than an AAC Titan STEEL .338 LM ca...

Re: Hk MP5SD / Octane
I keep wishing SWR would make a suppressor for the MP5SD. Their latest suppressor has the wheels turning, so to speak. A long tube, 12 inches or so, a blast baffle and the octane core and whala there it is. Perhaps, I have over simplified. Blind desire yields to logic grudgingly, I suppose. :) Grou...

Re: anyone ever try to add front sight to the end of their c
SWR used an endcap that had 2 holes drilled and tapped to hold a circle of steel ( the same diameter as the can ) , with a front sight blade projecting from it . The disc had 2 curved slots in it . The screws went through these slots , and allowed rotation for windage adjustment when loosened . The...

With an order like this expectations short of +/- a year are unfounded.
BTW, when is the last time Knights built MP5SD cans?

Noveske 300 AAC BLACKOUT 8" vs. 10" barrels
Has anyone chrono'd these barrels side by side with 110 or so grain bullets and H110 or W296? I am curious to know how much or little velocity is gained when you jump from an 8" barrel to a 10" barrel. This question was spawned while discussing the optimal short barreled, suppressed 300 AA...
