Re: First project: Integerally surpressed Barretta U22 Neos

It would be a huge waste of volume and extra weight to take a thick-walled tube and mill the sides flat... If you want looks over performance then go ahead and do it, but most people in the world of cans go for performance. Your idea isn't going to be very popular here for that reason.

Re: My new K Baffle design, just about done.

We used to have a lathe at my place of work that turned prop-shafts for Navy ships. The shaft's it turned were up to 30" diameter and 100 feet long. The lathe itself was over 20 feet tall and 150 feet long. Sadly, they got rid of it a few years ago. The overhead cranes used to move the shafts a...

I searched through your posts and didn't see any pictures thats where the comment came from. Why don't you post them again or put up the link? I understand a rough training regime, I work about 10-14 hours a day 7 days a week so I get your point. Did you look at my baffle picture thread? There are ...

I need some quick help

Ok, so about a year ago I had a computer crash and lost most of my "rainy day files" due to an error in the back-up files automatically created by my external hard-drive. My rainy day files included all my archived photos of suppressor internals designs etc. That is now coming back to bite...

When I did my Form 1 can I made the baffles .330-.380" (they got progressively larger the further they were from the muzzle) and it's worked well for me.

You are not required to keep anything with you. That could depend on state law. Many state laws say it is illegal to have such-and-such, but a defense for having such-and-such is proper registration. In that case, a LEO would have probably cause to arrest you and hold your property until you prove ...

What if one had a "manufacturer" place the dropgrip on the pistol? Could one then buy a $5 stamp and have the manufacturer transfer the AOW to the individual? Yes, you can do that. And IIRC, if you owned the Sig pistol beforehand, the transfer back to you can be direct from the manufactur...

WTS: .38/.357 conversion for Dillon 550B SPF

***SPF*** This is the conversion only, no dies. I bought it at an auction in a lot of reloading stuff and don't have a need for it. It looks very lightly used and all parts are present (shell plate, 3 locator buttons, powder drop/mouth belling die, original blue case). MSRP is $43.95 and you don't n...

Do it! I did so with mine.

Although if you have a unique design that you think you may want to patent, or if you copy a patented design in building yours, you may not want to show those parts of it.

Unfortunately it probably won't make it out of committee. We've "reached our limit" of pro-gun bills that the libs will let out of committee this year. They know that once it leaves committee they can't stop it. 2 pro-gun bills is all they'll let slip out in an election year.

I'm not sure if it is by design and intentional, but I do know that it is a result of the way they machine the bore. IIRC they use a wire EDM to do the bore after the suppressor is completely assembled, and unless they specifically program the EDM machine to remove that edge it will "just be le...

One thing that I would be concerned about would be making something that could be "readily adapted" to be a firearm silencer. Therefore I would think you'd want to have it permanently attached. Like those GAMO air rifles with the integral suppressor on them. People have often speculated th...

Thank you guys, I am in Miami Florida. I am looking into an attorney. M1, one dealer quoted me $300 dollars to set up a trust. I am sure for the same price, or one or two hundred more, I can get a legit Lawyer to do the trust rather than $300 bucks from a gun clerk. Now if the clerk had said $100 o...
