Re: AAC Ti-Rant 9mm...
So... with the pending AAC move is the 3-lug dead? Not dead - just delayed another 3 years. I'm afraid you could buy a 3-lug can from another manufacturer and get your stamp back long before AAC will ever get this thing to market. They are going to be inwardly focused for quite a while this ...

Sorry for the delays.... all of them Come on Mers - give us an update! You tease it and then leave us hanging for six weeks. ...then again, we've...

Re: AAC Ti-Rant 9mm...
Uzi tri lug 8.5" showed up in the mail today. Guess what my tirant needs? Probably the same thing my Glock-pattern 9mm AR needs. 8) I ordered a 1/2 x 28 tri-lug adapter from HK Parts. It looks a lot better on an MP5 than a AR style rifle. Now I just need a quick attach adapter for my Ti-Rant 9...

Re: Cleaning the Outback 2
Great pix - thanks for sharing! These pix should be mandatory viewing anytime some asks, "Can I shoot .22lr through my 5.56 can?" Yes, you can - but do you want that kind of crud packing up inside your expensive centerfire suppressor?

In 3 or 4 months I'll find out for myself - I just ordered a Tirant to accompany my Osprey.

Re: Where can I buy 9mm subsonic ammo?
I buy Fiocchi 158gr 9mm ammo from AmmunitionToGo.
It's scary quiet in my Glock / Silencerco Osprey - especially when run wet.

Re: SilencerCo must be doing well....
After a 4 month wait for a Form 4 transfer, I was finally able to pick up my Osprey 9mm. It's absolutely fantastic! So I gave my NFA crack dealer a call and asked him to order a Stainless Sparrow and a .45 Osprey for me. ....then we got the bad news about the crazy long build times. :( ....that took...

Re: Osprey 9mm Field Report
Historian - I got a call back from my NFA crack dealer. Apparently, Silencerco is saying that the lead current lead time for Sparrows and Osprey's is being measured in months!
I'd say that's a pretty good indicator as to the popularity of their suppressors!

Re: Osprey 9mm Field Report
Did you have to do any work to the feed ramp of your LWD barrel to get it to feed properly? None. I ran several hundred rounds of 115gr WWB through it while waiting for the Form 4 transfer to complete. I didn't have any problems feeding the Fiocchi when I started shooting suppressed. The lone wolf ...

Osprey 9mm Field Report
The tax stamp for my 9mm Osprey finally came in, so I thought I'd post my "range report" here. My host is a Glock 17 with a Lone Wolf threaded barrel. Over the course of two days, I think I went through 300+ rounds of Fiocchi 158gr sub-sonic ammo. The clever "indexing lever" work...

The ammo is no-name Lithuanian military surplus NATO 55gr 5.56
I think I bought 2 cans of it from AmmoMan
The barrel is a 12.5" Bravo Company with 1:8 twist

"normal" POI Shift?
I finally got to spend some good trigger time with my new AAC M4-2000. I went to an indoor range with a limit of just 50 yards. I was shooting .mil surplus 55g rounds. I zeroed the rifle to 50 with the can on and then popped it off to see the effect on my point of impact. My POI shifted about 2"...

Re: Board index » Recommended Dealers » MAJ MALFUNCTION ????
I bought from MM due to his good rep here and on ARFCOM
I won't buy from him again. During my purchase he was damn near impossible to get a hold of. No reply to my voice mail or emails.
That was my experience - YMMV.

I'm an NFA noob myself and had essentially the same question. I'm building a .22lr SBR and I wanted a can that I could also use on my long gun. The recommendation I got was to buy a 9mm can and use that on my .22lr and 9mm pistols. That makes my tax stamp dollar go a little further since there a fou...
