How do I do a trigger job then? How do I put a different stock on? Seems pretty difficult without taking it off.

Re: 11.5 inch barrel ar no stock and forward grip but not a

changing a stock on a bolt action can change the OAL, but changing a muzzle device doesn't. If you take off the stock, it is no longer a shoulder fired weapon. There are other stocks that allow it to work as intended, but they change OAL That is the same principle as the buffer tube, and I don't see...

I am well aware of that, but unlike a muzzle device, you can't remove the buffer assembly and have it work. It is a part of the firearm that is needed to make it work.

Re: 11.5 inch barrel ar no stock and forward grip but not a

I argued that since the receiver extension is removable and a person could easily install a shorter one, then it should not matter whether or not the muzzle device was removable or not. The length could be easily changed by unscrewing a component from the back end, so why should it matter up front?...

Re: Shooting center fire silencers wet.

Does the anodized coating exterior expand at the the same rate as the core material? No. Anodizing may be part of the metal, but it is a completely different material in the end. Aluminum oxidizes practically instantly when exposed to air. The oxidized layer is harder and stronger. Anodizing just i...

Re: Shooting center fire silencers wet.

I currently shoot my 9mm and 22lr cans wet, this greatly helps when I take them apart and wipe them down after I return home. The gunk does not harden and lock the baffles to the tube. I have aluminum cans for my 338 whisper, 458 socom and 510 whisper. They are all rather large volume reflex style ...

I use trailboss and shoot 200 grain cast bullets. No recoil, and shoots well inside of 75 yards.

Re: Man spends 2 years in solitary after dwi (with no trial)

DUI legislation is a result of insurance company lobbying. This x a fucking million. I got a DUI because I slept in my car when I knew I shouldn't drive. I had my keys in the front seat with me (not in the ignition) which is apparently the same as driving (who the F--k would have thought) and a cop...

I was thinking it might be cool to build a 22LR AR pistol. I'm not sure if they sell a cap to go where the buffer tube would, but I could have one made if they didn't. Spikes tactical has one. Has wrench flats on it that are the same size as the standard fixed stock buffer tube too. I just got one....

Idaho has weak gun laws that help feed the illegal gun market and allow the sale of guns without background checks.
Yea- because a private sale of private property between two individuals is somehow bad.
