SPF Aimpoint Twist Mount for Magnifier $50 SPF
All, I have an Aimpoint Twist Mount for a magnifier for sale. I decided to go with a different mount, so this one is for sale. It's lightly used with only some minor wear marks on the anodizing. It still functions great exactly as it should. I'll take $50, and I'll cover FedEx ground shipping plus i...

Re: WTS: Lone Wolf Glock 17 and 19 Threaded Barrels
I suppose a picture is worth a thousand words, since these haven't received any interest yet. Plus, I'll drop the price to $125 for the pair shipped. <a href="http://s86.photobucket.com/user/whatsleftoftheflag2/media/IMG_2536_zpsgzbtikhs.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="h...

Re: Dumb legal question, firearm gift.
Definitely, Doubloon, I don't want to be the guy that tries to figure out in court what legal and what isn't. Your example of the woman being married to a felon is exactly what I'm getting at, and why I confidently agree that none of these examples are straw purchases. The term straw purchase descri...

Re: Dumb legal question, firearm gift.
I definitely see Renegade's points on this. This was some time ago, but I do remember speaking with the dealer when we discussed the transaction because I asked if she should pay with her credit card, and we'd work it out between us when we left(meaning I'd give her the 500 bucks.) He was in agreeme...

Doubloon,
Yeah, that was my thought, and the dealer agreed with me. Not a straw purchase, because she was the one filling out the 4473 even though I was the one paying.

Re: Dumb legal question, firearm gift.
Thought I'd share a transaction I did at a gun store in the past as part of the discussion of what is/is not a "Straw Purchase." My mom wanted a new handgun, so I told her I'd get her one for mother's day. We picked out which gun suited her best. When the transaction was done, I paid for t...

Re: Form 1's via living trust
As far as the question as to when do I add them to the schedule A, think about it this way. If you buy a suppressor on a form 4, and apply for the Form 4 transfer to you, you have not taken possession of it from your dealer. Therefore your trust cannot own it.

Re: Form 1's via living trust
I definitely see what you are saying. My schedule "A" doesn't even have a place for me to sign on it. I just write the item in when I receive the paperwork OR take possession from a dealer(form 4.) I write in the following information per item in my schedule A: - Manufacturer - Model - Cal...

Re: Form 1's via living trust
Yes, you just add the items in AFTER the forms are approved. I'm confused by your last question, Are you talking about adding or removing NFA items and changing dates? If that's the case, what should prevent you from doing it is the fact that it's illegal. I mean, why go to all the trouble to form a...

Oh Bender, you read me like a book. I'm out in AZ working, and I had a can that got approved, so naturally I had to fly back to 'Nam to scoop it up from Minutemen Tactical. The dude literally said,"Whaazzz that? it don't look like no guun?" The fun times of domestic travel through regional...

Re: Airline Travel with Suppressor
If I may offer some suggestions as well for my experiences from flying with everything from machine guns, SBR's and silencers. 1.) Double locks for sure. I ran into a situation where I was at the airport and the TSA agent said because there are places for two locks, there needed to be two locks. 2.)...

Re: Anyone running a CZ V22 .22lr AR upper?
It looks like a pretty decent piece of kit, it just needs a different forend and a shorter threaded barrel to make it zoomy. I read into them a bit more and a specific manufacture makes 27ish round magazines that are supposed to feed it fine. Also, in my investigations, it appears a weak point is th...

Anyone running a CZ V22 .22lr AR upper?
A guy I work with is off loading his. I don't have experience with these, so I took it all apart. From what I've read I can replace the free float tube with a rail that has the same thread pattern as the barrel nut, and a local smith can shop and thread the barrel to 1/2X28" for 60ish bucks. Fo...

Re: AAC Ti-Rant .45 question
I'm not sure what the deal is either, but my Tirant 45 looks like I drug it through a gravel pit and I most definitely did not. I have an older not jail broken one, and have had visions of jailbreaking it, and having it refinished with cerakote or something.

Bender, This is the grip im refering too. You can see how much thicker the grip is then a Serbu, and the lip just before the cross bolt can be an issue during high-stress/loss of fine motor skills situation. http://www.autoweapons.com/photos06/jan/870lmbreech.html Heard of a guy's finger slipping an...

Re: 7" bbl Remington 870 breaching shotgun question
I've seen the legit remington 870 breaching guns only(without all the MCS upgrades) as AOW go for about 1500. Last one I saw was on either GB or Sturme. I've also seen them in gun shops in AZ every once in awhile. They're cool, they work, and they're a lot of fun. If you get one, be prepared to cut ...

I install them with the "SF" logo at top center(12 oclock) position on the rifle.
I cannot speak to if the way you have yours installed will work or not.

I have a SF Mini 556 that gets whored around on 3 of my AR's, 18", 16", and a 10". I don't need earplugs when I shoot it, it's light weight, I can do full auto mag dumps out of the 10" and it's fine. Yes, it is louder when metered compared to full sized but I can't tell the diffe...

Is it a Gen 4 glock? I only ask, because there were some initial problems with the new recoil springs on some of the Gen 4 glocks. I have a Gen 3 19 and a Gen 4 17 that I run lone wolf barrels in with a Trident 9. I ran 200-300 rounds through the gun with the new barrel before ever putting a uppress...

What about the youth 10/22 stock for sale on brownells? I don't have any experience with it, but I saw the listing when I was looking for stocks for my 10/22.
If anyone wants a take-off wood stock to chop up, I'll come off of mine resonably priced. PM me if you're interested.
