Re: M&P 9 won't cycle with Fiocchi subs and T45

I don't believe the Fiocchi 158's are actually "underpowered" persay. They probably have the same amount of powder as say their 147's, but since it's a heavier projectile the same amount of powder propels it slightly slower. The first thing I would do is make sure the booster on the ti-ran...

Seeing as 300 AAC isn't a thing, and 300 Whisper has no specification it's really impossible for anyone to know the pressure or potential of that round. I believe it's just "300blk" you're looking for.
Oh stop being so pedantic!

Re: Moving to New York?

I was the one who asked him. Trust me when I say that comment was in direct response to the question about whether or not AAC was moving to NY. Could Remington move some people and start a production line in NY to streamline military orders? Sure. But moving the entire operation would make no sense ...

SHOT is also a trade show. Trade shows are meant to show off what you are going to make or might be making. Press releases are generally for announced products that have a definite release date and MSRP. A lot of the stuff seen at SHOT has no definite release date and sometimes no MSRP.

Re: 2012 at SHOT from AAC so far

So will they still be making the M4-2000 Mod8 suppressors? I have no official word, but most likely yes. Why would they do that if the new SR5 is 'THE' 223 can now? I would expect them to carry on new products in 51t about as much as they supported 18t. But I have no idea, just a thought. They are ...

Re: 2012 at SHOT from AAC so far

AAC had a line of M4-2k "like" silencers that were tuned for specific military platforms. They had an M4-ACR, an M4-RGP, and an M4-416 IIRC. Sounds like AAC decided to just homogenize the M4-2k line into one silencer. On a separate note, any particular reason why the new Mini-7 isn't in th...

Not really. A lot of good silencers experience some flash out of the end on the first shot or after a long string of shots.
