Re:
On both the Operative and Operative S integrally suppressed barrels, the baffle stack is easily removable for cleaning. Simply unscrew it with the included take-down tool, brush it off with a stiff bristled brush, spray some good gun oil on it, and re-insert. On the Operative S, the whole suppresso...

Re: Electrical people - why is my hose electrified?
The loadcenter (breaker box) in a residence is required to have a bonding jumper, usually 6 gauge, from the ground lug to a copper cold water line. The meter box on the outside of a residence is grounded to a copper-clad ground rod driven into the ground next to it. If your meter ground is broken or...

Re: Take Apart TiRant 45 not coming apart right
Mine did the same thing, but both sets of threads turn freely, so I just fully disassemble when I clean it. If one day the booster half won't budge, I will red loctite the top end in, and try again. I think this scenario will repeat itself over and over as loctite dissolves pretty easy in Hoppe's No...

Re: Which threaded .22 pistol
I've got an Advantage Arms kit for Glock 22, a P22, Buckmark, Beretta Neos, and a Sig 226 with factory .22 kit. By far the 226 w/kit is the best. I know we are talking apples and oranges price wise, but consider it. It is the quietest with an Element 2, in my opinion, but the others are right in the...

Yeah, I waited a year by the time that boondoggle went south. Finally sent my 10/22 takedown to Thompson Machine, transferred to my dealer in November, sent F4 in December. I'll have two damn years into this before its all done. Then the honeybadger... AAC make great hardware and vaporware. I'm just...

My wife gave me a Beyer barrel for Christmas. 4.75" long, threaded. Using it with an Element on an SBR. Keeps standard velocity sub-sonic. Sounds like a stapler with CB caps.

Re: Desert Car Kings show
The older cars have more of an aesthetic appeal to me but that is it. I have owned a two Trans-Ams, both '88, with the tuned-port 350 c.i. engines, and they seemed really fast at the time. I bought a 2001 Grand Prix with the supercharged 3.8 engine and it smokes the Trans-Ams. Imagine the sales of v...

I have the threaded .40 caliber LWD barrel for my Glock 22. Failure to feed problems multiple times per magazine, on multiple magazines. No problem with stock barrel. I called and they offered to ream it out to Glock OEM specs for a fee, but I declined. It is only a range toy now with my Ti-Rant .45...

Switching uppers on an SBR
I have a Colt 6933 and the form 4 has the correct 11.5" length.
Can I sell the 11.5" upper, and buy/attach a 10.3" upper and not have to notify the ATF?
If I have to update the paperwork, what is involved?

What's it worth? Found an interesting SP1.
Passed on an old SP1 today, but thinking about going back to get it. I should have gotten the serial number, but didn't think about it until the trip home. Colt SP1 with the original SP1 bolt. No fence receiver. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was about an 8 mechanically, 4 cosmetically. Cracked buttplate....

I've dipped the baffles of my Element twice. I used 1 cup of each ingredient and that seemed to be just enough. bubbling is vigorous at first, but eventually stops and some stirring is involved to finish.

2 miles from my house. I shop there all the time. My wife and I were talking about this, and the similar incident noted in the article. We both carry, but while my head is on a swivel, she is more lax and only keeps it in her purse, not on her person. Time to start my lecturing again. Wish me luck.
