Re: Looking for a can to handle 50 BMG subs and 338LP
I did end up with a Bowers Vers50 actually. After talking to them, they made me one with all stainless baffles to rate it at higher velocities than the normal Vers 50. But still nowhere near 338 velocities. But that's ok. I'd be shooting 338 supersonic anyway for long range. My stamp should be back ...

Looking for a can to handle 50 BMG subs and 338LP
I am getting the bug real bad to finally make the jump to a big bore sub rifle. I'm interested in the 50BMG bullet cartridges like the 50 Thumper or 510 Whisper. I have a 7.62 can already and shoot it on my 5.56 rifles too so I thought maybe if I got a 50 cal can that wasn't necessarily 50 BMG rated...

Seems best suited for a KSG or UTS bullpup.

Re: Which threaded .22 pistol
I have a Buckmark that has been customized and absolutely love it. Then I also have a Sig 226 Classic with threaded barrel that is a lot of fun. Advantages of the Sig is that the mags can be modified to hold 15 rounds and it's easy to find holsters for.

Re: Anybody seen this charging handle?
I cannot tell by the photos too well, is the charging handle on the left or right side of the rifle? It's on the left side. In the photo on the home page its locked back. Actually I think the photos in the slides are all showing it back. I need to show it forward. I don't have any real good picture...

Ok, I know you haven't. I'll be honest. It's mine and I designed it. This post is the first public announcement about it I've made anywhere. Since this was the first gun related board I ever joined I figured I'd ask you guys first what you thought about it.

Re: Is getting a Ruger worth me getting rid of my Buckmark?
Don't know where you are located but if you are going to the silencer shoot in Dallas this month I'll be there with my Ruger Mk3 and you can shoot them side by side. Mine has a 4.5" pac-lite barrel. I used to live in Dallas and would have been there in a second but I've moved to TN now. I did ...

Re: M4 upper blueprint of CAD file
Thanks. I downloaded the program (twice since I got the 32 bit one first but needed 64) and the file. Got it saved as a .dwg and tried to open it in AutoCAD. Evidently my 2004 CAD isn't up tp opening it. Guess I need to pony up and upgrade. For now I'll keep trying

M3 is fine. The feedramps aren't important I guess. That is what I was looking for I appreciate it. I'd still take a .dwg if anybody has it. Will save me a lot of work.

Here is a guy that makes nice Buckmark stuff but it's made to order and not in stock I think. I ended up finding him on a rimfire forum but here is his site.Tango2249 wrote:Where can you purchase a slide racker for the Buckmark, or is this something that you have to make?

Re: What guns do you own, and why?
I am currently at 60 guns. I didn't even know how many until I decided to go through them as I was moving the safe and record serial #'s, options, accesories etc on each one. There is redundancy obviously but I do like different things also so I am far from having my collection down to fewer caliber...

Re: Which AR lower to SBR?
i guess i didn't explain it, correctly. i have an AR15 that i want to have cut down (by ADCO) all the way to the gas block. i want an SBR, but i like my rifle, so i'm having it cut down instead of building a new one. HOWEVER, my lower is a high shelf and if i'm going to go through the hassles of cu...

Re: Which AR lower to SBR?
Another route may be to SBR a Plum Crazy lower because it's lighter than a regular one. SBR shaves the weight down quite a bit. The PC lowers weigh about a pound less than aluminum, so the whole package would be uber light weight. Just a thought. I've built a rifle with composite upper and lower, J...

Re: Which AR lower to SBR?
Im wanting to form 1 a lower so I can stop shooting pistol versions. I have several AR lowers but with the fact that it's another life long purchase I'm not opposed to buying another lower for this purpose. So just wondering if there is really any that are better besides billet machined ones. Which...

Re: Brand new to all this, and have lot's ove question?
I decided to go Buckmark because I already had one and love it. I had to get a different one to have threaded since I had a nickel plated model but I'm happy. I think they have better controls and trigger quality out of the box. I also found the site below to allow 1911 grips to be put on Buckmarks....

Re: Just Bought A Ruger Tactical 10/22
Just wondering if anyone here knows how accurate is Rugers thread jobs?? Putting a Sparrow on it, well when my wait is over. Re: Is getting a Ruger worth me getting rid of my Buckmark?
Well I decided to go Buckmark since I just like mine so much but after realizing that mine was nickel finished and would probably not hold up after threading I ended up finding another Buckmark. Found a used one with the Tac Sol sight/scope rail, 4" threaded bull barrel (not slab sided), G10 gr...
