I shortened the barrel of this M-14 to 16.25 inches and put a Smith Enterprise brake (flame thrower) on it for the penetration on vehicles and buildings at close range (under 200 meters) before deployment. the Smith Brake allowed me to fire a 20 rd mag on full auto and keep them all in the silhouet...

This is a Krebs converted 14in SBS that keeps all the slugs on the steel at 100 yards. Shooting clays is a great time also.

I don't have an S&W 76 in 9mm, but with my MP-5 even most of the subsonic ammo is not subsonic from a closed bolt 10.5 inch barrel. The longer barrel will change the normal velocity of the ammo. As dragoon said, you may want to try a heaver spring to use with the suppressor that will slow down ...

You can still have choke tubes. My (Factory) Witness Protection 870 was fitted for Rem Chokes.
