I'm interested in the results. I have a MAMS, just haven't had time to install on my rifle. Currently sporting the SOCOM brake.

Re: Surefire Socom ratchet question
I've finally received my SFMB-556, so I've been able to look at it more carefully. Beyond the "tongue" and the 45˚ mating surface [the transition up to the widest profile on the brake], there doesn't seem to be any mounting interface. It must be an eccentric cam. It just makes me wonder w...

Man I do not know the answer to that... I assume you have pinned the FH on the 14.5", I honestly would look at dremmeling off the pin & re pinning a MB just to save the can.

Re: 7.62-Mini vs. 5.56-RC
I have not heard the new SOCOM 762 Mini's yet, but I would assume it would sound fine on 223. You'll be good with the 14.5", I think they are talking db reduction. I know the Legacy series 762 Mini sounds very good on a LMT MWS. Been thinking of running the SOCOM 762mini on my SR-25 ECC if it e...

Re: New Socom suppressors hearing safe down to what bbl leng
The new SOCOM Mini is almost too loud on my 14.5" with XM193. I wouldn't shoot it long without ears. On my 18" its much nicer. I'm hoping to find some time to compare them head to head w/ AAC's.

Re: Anyone have a SR15 Carbine SBR
The 14.5" shouldn't be that much louder than the 16". Now the 11" will be! I'm waiting for a few uppers to come in next week and going to build one up for myself. Going to pin a brake and not worry about F1/F4'ing something... Now that upper is heaver than their IWS 16", it has a...

Re: M4-2000 Cleaning?
Should the M4-2000 be cleaned (aside from the mounting components) when used on an SBR? If so, how (assuming no sonic cleaner available)? If not, will carbon build-up when used on an SBR hurt it long-term (before the baffles burn out and it would otherwise "die" will it fill with carbon e...

Just watch the latch... Mine is on its way back because the suppressor will come off without pushing the latch. Otherwise I've beat mine to hell on the full auto!
