When it comes to tubes I lean towards Maverick Precision or Super Precision Concepts. Really depends on intended use seeing the Maverick have a 2″ reinforced proximal section.

I picked one up with the intent of using a 762-SDN-6 on it and immediately ran into a snag. The hump at the end of the barrel does not allow the 51T flash suppressor mount to snug down to the barrel as it should. It appears I'll have to have that hump turned down to fit the interior of the 51T flash...

Nothing wrong in my opinion with factory thread. I went with a threaded SR-22. Nothing wrong with the factory but I wanted a mated twist for Aguila SSS and bought a Tactical Innovations 1:9 to use for it.

Sounds like the 16 is a great option beyond SBR lengths.

Barrel lengths I am going to be testing: 16", 10", 8". The 8" will mount a silencer with a 7" rail, the 10" will mount a silencer with 9" rail or a reflex silencer with a 7" rail so that is where we decided to start. I'll pass on the request for a group buy, ...
