Why are .22Lr supppressors so expensive in the US?

I am wondering why especially .22Lr suppressors are so expensive in USA.

Anybody know why?

Here in Europe a high end 22 suppressor wil go for a maximum of 200 dollars TAX included.

Most of the suppressors i sell, go for 100-150 dolars TAX included.

I am just curious.
