GO shoot it, then take it off. getting the can hot will make it come apart easier.

Re: Good price on a Savage fv-sr(at least I. think so)
Mine shoots great and has been VERY accurate ... until ... Last night I am sitting on my patio with my little rifle topped by a digital IR scope and with can mounted. Am watching a chicken coop that has invaded several times by a predator. The raccoon has killed or driven off 13 of my adolescent ch...

Re: WTK anyone own/shoot a Beretta TX4? 1301?
Only thing I have done is a +7 nordic tube, trimmed the lifter spring, and lots of file love to the loading port. I havent tried very low power loads because I need the help of fast rounds to knock over far steel. It's easier than messing with different chokes for different stages. I have noticed it...

Pump is surely faster than an auto.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCB7uEQ9W9A I love my 1301. I have run it in a few local 3 gun matches and shoot clays with it. It's real lightweight, cycles quickly, has a smaller LOP, and I really like the forearm in comparison to the 930 it replaced. I still...

Re: Custom Liberty 300Blk SBR Can
Really wish he wouldve kept the original lighter version. If he had I'd have one on order. Ive got plenty of other 30 cal cans, I want a short, fat and light can specifically for my 300blk. Does Dave still do one-off cans? Ive already got a 9" AAC with a specwar, I want a 6" barrel upper ...

I turned away my Form 4 because it had my address on it as well. I'll wait until BATFE removes all PII before accepting it.

The Ryder looks just like the warlock inside, except that it has the "pignose" baffle vs. the CTA. No tube to clean.

I remember because thats when I threw in my pre-order for one. Now that it "evolved" into a more expensive SWR Warlock, it lost appeal to me.

Re: How could AAC improve the Element 2?
If you must keep the K baffles then clam shell it up like the sparrow. The clamshells are patented . . . hence why whoever it was tried the 1-piece sleeve and everyone else is stuck with encapsulated baffles. Tactical Solutions did the 1 piece split clamshell. Not sure how many made it to market th...

A QD feature with inexpensive mounts. While my Griffin Checkmate isnt the quietest, it gets the most use because it's convenient.

I lube straight walled pistol cases with carbide dies. it's much easier to pull the handle. I've reloaded about 20k rounds and still on my first bottle of lube. why do more work than you have to?

Fwiw, the low power loads that most semis have problems cycling are weak birdshot. Any low recoil home defense ammo hasnt been a problem with any of my 930s (2 jm pros, 2 hs, and 1 spx). Ymmv.
