Re: Baffle orientation

The Good Captain again is providing well thought out information that has been supported by empirical tests over time. For example for the .22 the 'simple' Little Bird • with just 4 conical baffles seems to meter a bit under the gold standard Dead Air HD. And the 'Russian-Peasant' designed Stetchkin...

Use two chuck keys opposite each other, loosing one and tightening other .... in horizontal position while reading dial so DTI reads ½ distance. Rotate 4-jaw 90º and do same. Perform same ritual for the 2 jaws, Repeat a few times. The key is to use two chuck keys. Using only one is doomed to frustra...

Optimum in all variables is DeadAir Mask.
Less expensive is Little Bird
with good sound but all aluminum.

Other standards available .

Some sites allow drag in folder.

Immediately Stop Gangs Of Looters

Banks use purple dye packs to spray thieves. Stores should
have spray nozzles at doors covering looters with hard to wash off
purple dye ... explain that to family and police.

Another point of view: Recently on Newsmax a group of male African Americans were interviewed champing DJT seeing how Georgia DA is persecuting him as they have been. Mr. Fixit it is correct, the spammers ... may they now inhabit Dante's 12th layer of hell ... drove designers away. A surprising simple 4 baffle/chamber suppressor that seems not to be well known is AB Suppressor Little Bird 22 . Four baffles in a tube that is threaded all the way through and the baffles shaped like a tap screw in at different depths. Developer says that by unscrewing it cuts all the gunk out. A ...

And whenever the Texas Lawsuit ever wins and Suppressors
are finally removed from NFA control the last must-have
purchase will be the totally integrated Sicario .22.

Re: Is There Such a Thing as "Too Much" Suppressor?

Again the Good Captain gives sage advice. As for aluminum for .22 many present day cans use a high grade and hard anodized. E.g, "AB Suppressor Little Bird 22 - Tiny Performance!" << https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTJWY0WVJDQ >> 103 Db pistol. For 10/22 cut down 5.5" Barrel ... this ...

Excellent! Like the Amphibian of old. Great integrally suppressed pistol. Vote for K's ... again alignment when maching a stack of Ks. From experience ... use Permatex Anti-Seize on all threads. Anchor Lube is a great for threading, tapping, and light coat inside a can. Especially for dirty .22 the ...

Re: 22 rimfire- Omega vs Cones vs K's

A novel idea to mull over would be to emulate Don Walsh construction as it would be self-aligning and no baffle strikes to worry about. Caveat: any final product should be checked with a Giessele Alignment rod. Even best designs have machining errors which can lead to baffle strikes or even worse se...

You present an interesting idea. Extrapolating for the esteemed long ago designer Don Walsh's patent EP0107273A1, PDF on Line, you could mill out a through slot along its length and encase it with a cylinder a la Don's design. Alignment preserved, fast initial decompression that reduces blow back, a...
