Re: New here, looking to purchase for Beretta M9
If you are anywhere close to southern Arizona, send me a note and we'll go shoot a few. Your question "recommendations for a good value suppressor that I'll be happy with?" is quite difficult to answer. Its similar to asking for recommendations for a good value vehicle that I'll be happy w...

Re: Encore SBR help
The NFA Handbook is a good place to get a lot of information. In the case of OAL, it reads, "The overall length of a firearm is the distance between the muzzle of the barrel and the rearmost portion of the weapon measured on a line parallel to the axis of the bore." https://www.atf.gov/fir...

Re: Anyone Try the TacSol Axiom
I am a big fan of Tactical Solutions. Their Ruger pistol uppers are top notch. The SBX barrels are pretty neat and shoot great. I have an AR22 SBX and an a TSAR 300blk upper that are waiting for me to play with soon. Good quality and solid performance.

Re: Anyone Try the TacSol Axiom
I have no Sparrow experience. I shot the Axiom back and forth with an Xcaliber Genesis, an SRT Cheyenne XXL, and an integral MkIII. The integral won the quiet contest. Without trying to hear any difference between any of the cans, I'll say I could not tell a difference. I'll get back to them and oth...

Re: Anyone Try the TacSol Axiom
I have a couple hundred rounds through an axiom on a MkIII with Pac-lite then ran out of time. I put some aguila 40gr subs and Rem standard velocity down range. So far it sounds pretty much the same as any other rimfire can mounted to a MkIII, quiet. It did not get dirty enough to impress me when I ...

Re: Contender --Anyone use one---
I looks like the many great replies have been promising. I have no Contender experience, but plenty of Encore time. In my opinion, whether in pistol or rifle format, we cannot beat the handiness of a break-action. One shot is all it takes, right? As well as a few MGM barrels notably a 15in .22lr fas...

If its integral and the suppressed barrel >16in then its one stamp. Less than 16in, its two stamps.
