Definitely worth it. It will save your thumbs from pushing the little metal nub down on the mags to load them.

Spraying a little Rem-Oil and shaking the rounds around helps them feed much easier also.

Remington 870 or mossberg 500, slugs and buckshot can handle most anything you'd likely come across. They are also relatively cheap and very reliable.

Shot a Prodigy side by side with his steel .22 silencer. At least to my ear, his was a bit quieter, though much heavier.

I'd like to second the nice guy comment also. He was very helpful with the NFA process.

He also rigged up a short barrel AK to be able to mount a 762SD.

If you can only get one can, I'd go with a .22, with a .30 (i.e. 762SD) a close second. .22 - You will be able to shot it a lot for cheap and it will be the closest you can get to "Hollywood" silent. .30 - The value of a .30 cal can is that you can use it on pretty much any hunting or batt...

There was nothing official in their response. When I moved to MD I just called the MSP licensisng division and asked the question on how to obtain a CCW in MD and was told the party line statement. ATP quoted me the same about a year ago. Wanted $200 for a transfer. That being said, while their product prices are ridiculous, the range is really nice and inexpensive. If you don't mind about a 90 min ride out to Columbia from Charleston, there is a class III dealer out there that does suppressor...

There is, so much for privacy in MD.

MG's require $10 a year registration. "Assault pistols" like an AR-15 pistol are prohibited. (Might be a way around that if you register it as an AOW, not really sure) Silencers are fine. Any guns other than "assault pistols" are legal to bring into the state, no registration/per...

Need military ID and orders to get your hunting license. $60 includes everything you need (big game, WMA, etc) Make sure to get a copy of the Georgia Hunting Regs. You can then easily find public lands near you, there will be a lot. What REGION are you located in? Hog hunting is very good throughout...

I have a Tasco Propoint 3 that I got for free. I think its a bit heavy and bulky but it does the job well enough for now. A really slick setup would be an Aimpoint Micro-1, but I can't justify spending $500-600 on the sight to put it on a .22 handgun. I agree with the FastFire suggestions. If I had ...

I think some people are rolling the dice and cashing out their MG's before the Heller decision is released. As we have previously speculated, if the Heller case goes our way, by saying that the .gov can't ban an entire class of firearms, we'll use that to challenge 922(o). I think some people are h...

Glad to help. think the 18'' model = scout model = Navy model. I just asked for the 18'' hooded gas lock front sight.

I'll be home in about 11 days and can confirm that everything fits together.

I'm very excited to get the GLFS, Schuster gas plug, AAC blackout mount, and 762SD all together.

I ordered the hooded GLFS from http://www.law483.com/ for $75 shipped (I don't think it is listed on the website, so you'll probably have to call and ask)

He posted on the M14firingline forum.

Try calling (817) 441-8483 to see if they have any in stock.

Nice shots. I noticed your location is listed as Florida. Do you happen to have any suggestions/information for hunting hogs in northern Fl?

I'm going to be moving there in a few months and I'm starting to look into hunting around there. Thanks.
