Re: G19 & Tirant9 Issues
I shoot my TiRant 9 on a factory threaded Glock 19, haven't had a single hiccup. My only experiences with aftermarket barrels on Glocks involve a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel in a Glock 23 that was horribly out of spec (the barrel) and unreliable, and a Lone Wolf threaded barrel in a Glock 21 tha...

WTS: Sig 226 Elite 9mm w/extras, Sig 228 W.German 9mm w/extras
The Sig 226 Elite was purchased new by me 6 years ago and has approx. 3k rounds through it (mainly classes) and minimal time carried in the holster. It comes with standard black 226 grips, Karl Nill grips, and Hogue G10 Piranha grips, 3 Sig Sauer 20 round extended magazines, 1 Mec-Gar 18 round magaz...

Re: Backpacks
Only packs I have are military; large alice, ACU Molle, and OCP medium Molle ruck which is like a larger version of the assault pack with a frame. Of the 3, the ACU Molle ruck is my favorite due to the horizontal and vertical straps to cinch down the main compartment. The OCP pack looks good, but ca...

Re: Today it was 14 years ago -- I still remember ---
I was at Pohakuloa Training Center doing gunnery for our Bosnia rotation the following spring, I remember waking up to a loud crash at 3:03am like a door slamming and nobody else was up. Went to the chow hall for breakfast and heard a couple people talking about what sounded like a video game or mov...

Re: Suppressed Pistol, Which Make/Model??
Is there much of a difference between the MK25 and the P226 in terms of using as a suppressor host? MK25 internals are parkerized for swimming in salt water, and it has a cool anchor and sticker on it. Otherwise, same gun. I have a 226 Elite which comes with a beavertail, most important feature to ...

In the case of the AAC TiRant 45, good luck getting a 9mm booster threaded 1/2x28 right now, been trying for a year.

Re: Sig P229/220 with Osprey????
I don't have a 229 but I have a 228 I shoot suppressed. Wet or dry I catch more grit in the face with the Sig than I get from my Glock, dunno if it's a design issue but the Sig rarely leaves the house. I've already decided not to pursue a threaded barrel for my 226 because of it.

They are well known in South Dakota, a lot of guys use them for hunting and varmint shooting there. They sound on par to me with everyone else's centerfire rifle cans.

Re: Ti-Rant Question
Thanks for the info. So is the Tirant 45 my best choice or should I look at something else? Same question on the Element. Shot side-by-side, my Glock 19 with TiRant 9 is significantly quieter than a full size M&P 45 with TiRant 45 (147gr for 9mm; 230gr for .45). All but one of my handguns is a ...

Re: LA Deputies blame new handgun for increased accidental discharges
Sounds like an operator issue, not an equipment issue. The gun didnt cause the ND's, the jackwagon that pulled the trigger did.
