I know 2 people who picked up the SI barrels and have been pleased with them. Nothing spectacular, or on-par with the likes of Noveske/AAC, but still provided good groupings.
Was tempted to pick one up as well, but like you said, the availability went south soon after

Re: Twist and the myth that won't die.
Mr. Silvers, is it a good idea to always choose the fastest twist available on any type of rifle? Sounds like that would more to do with its intended purpose, or what you'l be shooting For punching paper @ 50yrds, it doesnt matter all that much, but for hunting/long range accuracy/etc, it can play ...

Re: OBL terminated with silent pistol ?
It is amazing seeing all the wild assed but unlikely guesses here and on AR15. Why would someone use a handgun when they are holding a rifle? Seriously, thats like confronting someone with a handgun, only to throw it down and stab them instead. Rifle seems like a no brainer, especially w/ SBR's out...

I know I had non-stop FTF/FTE issues until I took a good look at the OAL of my rounds and shortened them. The length, ogiv and where it came in contact with the magazine had something to do with it

Re: Hornady ammo announced
The Rem was held low as per Kevin and my request to sell for quantity rather than try to make a ton on each box. Normally it should be about $28 a box. I can see how those prices may be a deal-breaker for some, so it's great to see the lower prices for everything coming out. Much better than others...

Hey PNL, Great to hear you've put up such a site, this will definitely help out in our Form1 project. I had trouble viewing the site last night from home, and can't access it from here at work, but was wondering how much your plans typically go for (on average)? I told a few guys at work about it an...
