Re: Group buy 60* cones

We submitted the order yesterday.
We ended up with a total of 285 cones ordered.
We will post other group buys in the future. If you're really interested don't wait too long.
After we submitted the order I got flooded with request to get on board.

Re: Group buy 60* cones

These are the same cones that were sold by Diversified Machine and Totality. I believe we are getting these from the same manufacturer. I think the skirt wall is 0.030" but I'm not positive. These are 17-4 Stainless annealed. https://i.ibb.co/z7LFq5r/Screen-Shot-2018-08-21-at-12-43-50-PM-247x29...

Group buy 60* cones

We have put together a group buy of 17-4, 60* skirted cones at the other forum. They are just like the skirted cones some of the vendors used to provide. I just got tired of turning so many by hand and I like having the skirt attached. Here are the details.... We recieved a quote from a CNC shop to ...

Re: First form 1: .22lr/.17hmr questions

Try this....
Put the blast baffle tip 0.35" off the muzzle, then the first 5 spacers 0.5", the rest 0.35" and see how many baffles you can get in it.

That should give you a decent start.

Re: First form 1: .22lr/.17hmr questions

For 22LR I use aluminum. It's cheap and so am I. I wouldn't worry about using DHC as the designer has done a lot of testing and states it isn't necessary for 22LR. Do you plan to use a muzzle brake or direct thread? You can get spacers from DM when you get tube and end caps. For 22LR, I use about 0....

Re: 300 Black Out Welded Can

Regarding baffle porting,
I've been working on trying to reduce back pressure on gas guns for the last 6 months with little success.
Do you drill 4 ports in the blast baffle?
Or what have you found that works?

Re: Silencer design

What weapon and what caliber? What tools, machines do you have at your disposal? What is your ability level on your equipment? Do you take your coffee black or with creamer? Ok, forget the coffee..... All these will determine your answer. Also I would suggest you read this tutorial, the whole thing,...

Re: A friend swung by this morning...

Before I was 5 years old, I was exposed to a lot of single engine airplanes. Then guns. Then drums and rock and roll and garage bands now, my ears ring all the time. At night when all is quiet is when it's the worst. It's like continuous feedback on a loud guitar amp or PA system. I have to ask my ...

Re: Reflex 22lr build for dedicated AR15

Are you using over boring of the baffles as well as DHC ?
I tried this before using DHC and it made a difference. Then I tried the DHC and it was even better.

Re: Reflex 22lr build for dedicated AR15

I have used the DHC on 5.56 and I can hear a distinct difference from my single clips. Quieter.
Can't wait to see how they sound on 22LR.

Re: 5.56mm Sealed Can Build - Ongoing

The first can is a typical 9", 1.5 I'D with 8 cones, single clipped as described above. The second is an 8" , overbored with DHC. Listen to the 2nd and 3rd shots out of the 2nd can and see what you think.
