Re: What are you guys paying for NFA transfers?
$100 from me, less if you're a repeat customer who i know will not be high maintenance. everyone wants to execute transfers by eform which may clear (i.e. be approved) more quickly but certainly take me a TON more time to fill out, these days i'm lucky if I can get a form completed in less than 45 ...

Re: Suppressor sight question
Just ordered a SilencerCo Osprey 9mm. I'm brand new to handgun suppressors. I can see that, due to its shape, theOsprey will minimally obstruct the sights. My question here is how much POI shift will there be with the Osprey at 10-15 yds.? If I get high sights will innerspring to get adjustable one...

Re: Can my Class lll Dealer ship my Suppressor to me at home
You are NOT exempt as an individual. As an individual you HAVE TO FILL OUT A 4473. It just isnt called in. As a trust/corp the person picking it up HAS TO FILL OUT A 4473 and it IS called in specific to THAT person. That is the difference. Both require filling it out, but only with a trust/corp is ...

Re: Can my Class lll Dealer ship my Suppressor to me at home
A form 4473 must be completed in person. Business regarding the FFL and SOT must be conducted at the licensed place of business or at a gun show. No other options are legal. Since a 4473 is required to be completed at the time of delivery from the dealer to the owner after the initial approval of a...

Re: Can my Class lll Dealer ship my Suppressor to me at home
You have to pick it up in person from that dealer as they must conduct business at their premisis where they are licensed. They must have you complete a form 4473 and verify your identity via a state issued ID. That's not correct. I ship products to customers all the time when their Form 4 is appro...

Re: Can my Class lll Dealer ship my Suppressor to me at home
Is it legal for an Instate (NC) Class lll dealer to ship my suppressor to me at home or if not to a Class lll dealer (NC) that is much closer to me when he gets the stamp in from ATF? Seems like that should be legal, all the approvals are complete and it will be registered to me. If having a CC Per...

Re: Help deciding on 7.62 supperssor
This is my first ever post on any type of blog, so I screw something up sorry. I have never owned a suppressor but have used one and own class 3 weapons. I want a good, not cheap suppressor to use on my Remington 700, ar-10 and 10.3 inch ar-15. I want a ratchet attachment and would prefer to have i...

Re: Silencers on the daily show
You all fail to understand something. You fail to understand the distinction between NEWS and SATIRE. The Daily Show is SATIRE - however people watch it now FOR THE NEWS. SATIRE HAS BECOME NEWS! The line between the two no longer exists for everyone under 30. The more you speak of TDS as news, the m...

Re: Ammo for 22lr is sicking!
I have a question for the dealers who claim that they may go out of business due to having nothing to sell. Why? If the manufacturers of guns and ammo are making it as fast as they can, and I have no reason to doubt that they are, why are the dealers not getting as much product as they ever did? If...

Re: What Happened to the AAC SR7?
Im in the market for a new can for my 300 Blackout SBR build. I remember hearing about the new SR7, but when I went to the AAC website, I didnt see it. Did it get discontinued or something? AAC has removed SR5/SR7 literature from the website due to demand. I talked with Derek Smith about this and h...

Do they? I thought I remembered that they do, but a local dealer today who said no and my SDN-6 didn't come with one and it would be extra... Is that true? I bought one on a whim, since it was in stock, and I wanted to try/support a new dealer, I paid what seems to be fair, based on the prices I se...

Re: NFA Items and Non-Active Corporation
Businesses are not considered dissolved until all it's assets are disposed of. Although a business entity may have expired due to non-payment of annual fees, as far as the law is concerned, it can still act to dispose of property. That being said, it would not be wise to intentionally not transfer ...

Re: $1800 762SDN-6??
Your comment: what happens when your supply line all of the sudden dries up? You may not be aware but this very thing happened in 2012 with SDN-6's. They were easily orderable for most of 2011 and I spent a LOT of time in 2012 not selling SDN-6's simply because there were zero to sell. I ordered ple...

I have never had any issues contacting Gemtech and ordering stuff from them. I even ordered cans from them myself and never had any issues. Dealers in my area never had these problems and that's why they keep buying from them. I think that there is more to this transfer story than what's being told...
