Re: How do you shoot full auto...and hit something?

Pull the gun in tight to your shoulder. Stand with your feet apart, left foot forward and put most of your weight on it, leaning forward. Tuck your elbows in. It's an open bolt gun, jab the trigger, don't gently squeeze it. Shoot short, 3 to 4 round bursts. At 12 yards, you should be able to keep g...

... I agree, and to us a weapon system that runs a 7.62x35 out of a 8 inch barrel, a 12" integrated hand guard suppressor, ... It's probably acceptable performance given what you have to work with but for my taste 130+ dB is still not what I would call "quiet" although it is quieter ...

Re: Houston Armory's 1st Integrally Suppressed SBR

Loud is a relative thing . Personally, depending on the caliber, I rank stupid quiet somewhere between 117-122 dB I agree, and to us a weapon system that runs a 7.62x35 out of a 8 inch barrel, a 12" integrated hand guard suppressor, i mean how short is that compared to a 12" barrel with a...

those things are preventable, proper training and understanding of a weapon system go a long way in preventing something like the incidents described above. As unfortunate as they are, these kinds of "accidents" can be avoided with proper knowledge, understanding and training. But again, ...

Re: Houston Armory's 1st Integrally Suppressed SBR

In for pics of the first person to blow their hand off. why would somebody blow their hand off? Why do people have ADs at gun shows? Why do people shoot themselves in the leg while drawing? Why does a 8yo shoot himself in the head with a MicroUzi? Because s--t happens, and sooner or later, someone'...

Re: Houston Armory's 1st Integrally Suppressed SBR

In for pics of the first person to blow their hand off. Look badass, like a DEA upper. 133/134 is pretty loud, more work on the can is needed. why would somebody blow their hand off? we've ran full beta mags through this bad boy on full auto and all it did was get hot. It never flinched. Its like a...

Re: Houston Armory's 1st Integrally Suppressed SBR

Killer looking combination you have there, very compact package! My question would be though: "What are the muzzle velocities of the "supersonic" and "subsonic" rounds when fired through this unit?" Is the integral unit dropping the velocity of that 125gr round signifi...

http://imageshack.us/a/img194/6115/43131140730664598912919.jpg So the subsonic rounds were only ~1/2db quieter than the supersonic rounds? yep, this thing is designed to maximize the 300 blackout round. Why shoot 125gr when you can shoot 220gr just as quietly 8) This gun was designed for CQB/LEO an...

Re: Houston Armory's 1st Integrally Suppressed SBR

So the handguard is also the surrpressor... does it detach from the barrel in any way? How do you clean it? yes, the hand-guard is the suppressor. Its attached via the barrel nut next to the receiver with grad 8 machine screws and also has a removable cap which can be taken off with a armorers wren...

So your ad says 133.6db for subsonic and 134.2db for supersonic? Typo? nope! here are the 2 rounds, with each recorded and the avg. at the end 12" 300 220gr 139.99 - 136.87 - 135.86 - 133.73 - 129.04 - 133.02 - 131.24 - 133.57 - 131.57 - 131.34 -- 133.622134 12" 300 125gr 134.44...

I'm no expert but seems like that would make for one hot handguard? ETA: does look pretty badass though. we thought so too at first, but we have had great success with it.
