Re: AAC Distributors
Major does wholesale only now and he is a distributor for AAC. Send him your info and he will send you a price list. You will get a better price with him than you will with Accusport on a stocking dealer sized order the last time I looked. Autoweapons I believe can give you stocking dealer pricing a...

I think Glock makes 22rd mags for the G22 as well.silencertalk wrote:Pretty sure G21s only have standard and low capacity mags. High capacity are made by Glock for the G18/17 and some aftermarket company makes some 40 S&W high caps.

Re: Why don't modern guns come close to the 85 dB - DeLisle?
Its possible that those numbers are a result of improper testing. One of the videos I saw with one of the Liberty integrals showed the noise at around 110 db when dry fired. Hard to imagine that it could have been 25 db quieter than a dry fire.

If weight is not an issue the Stainless YHM Phantom QD is pretty tough to beat.swampf0x wrote:Hello all. I'm looking for a nice quiet can for a 308 and 300 black out that won't break the bank. What would you guys recommend?

Re: Best 22 suppressor: YHM Mite, Silencerco Sparrow or....?
Well, the YHM Mite gets a pretty bad rep on many forums, but in reality its not that bad (I have one). With that said, you would be foolish to buy one over the Sparrow (I have one). There is a price difference obviously, but you will get what you pay for. Also, the Suppressor game is not really for ...

To be honest, you more than likely don't need either one, but that doesn't mean you cant still have both.

Re: Why are suppressors so expensive?
If you want to know why suppressors are so expensive, find out how many suppressors are sitting on the shelf at AAC, Silencerco/SWR, and some of the other major manufacturers. Not very many. They can not really even keep up with demand. So why in the world would they take a product where they can no...

Re: What is the deal here?
Seems to me that with the exception of Silencerco/SWR, AAC, Gemtech, YHM, and Surfire that most suppressor manufacturers are pretty small company's. Silencerco/SWR and AAC clearly lead the pack as far as marketing go and I would say that is reflected in their growth. From what I have seen, a lot of ...

Re: AAC Element vs Silencerco Sparrow
You can not go wrong with either one. I have both and they are great. The FRP is very noticeable on the Sparrow but I find that you don't even notice it if your just shooting and having a good time vs listening to your suppressor to see how quiet it is.

I have been doing a little research since I posted this thread last year. I have been working on getting a garage and shop built and have considered a license for R&D purposes. When I ran across this today http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_laws/documents/official_itar/ITAR_Part_122.pdf un...

More than likely that is because he didn't have it in stock. Form 3's don't take that long.huntinherrington wrote:i bought my suppressor in december of last year from major and it arrived at my dealer two months ago.

Hi, Back to School. My new Pool table is perfect. My Ivory pool balls just roll out smoothly and quietly. I love the sound of the “first round pop” ! Delta, yes, Plastic is crazy for large calibers. Re: Review on probably the most hated can ever made.
I have a YHM Mite as a demo and I have to say that it is not bad at all. It is heavy in comparison to some of the other 22lr cans, but I cant imagine going shooting and at the end of the day complaining about how heavy it is. In regards to your local Dealers, that just plain sucks. You should do som...

Find out if you can run a firearms business from whatever location you are trying to do it from. If you can, you can get one. Its pretty easy. if you can get a business license from your city (some areas you might not need one) ATF is no problem. Only other thing is who owns the property you are goi...

Unless things have changed since the last time I checked, it is legal to hunt with a suppressor in Oregon.

I've got a YHM Mite, and am satisfied with it. (Hosts: Sig Mosquito, Spikes Tactical upper, and formerly CZ452) The can is whisper quiet COMPARED TO the steel its hitting. Yes, there's better cans out there. But its a great entry level can. Find someone who has one, and go hear it. Don't listen to ...
