Re: Police seize private property based on drug-sniffing dog
I think even worse than the way the law has been manipulated is the fact that there are at least some uniformed LEO's who are willing to confiscate property based entirely upon a dog's reaction. Search the property based on the reaction? Well ok, that is sensible, but to confiscate it based solely u...

It isn't very hard to get banned on TFL. I quit going there a long time ago because I did not like the atmosphere.

Whisperfan, it would be my opinion that a vote for either Romney, or Obama, is a thrown away vote, as both individuals are, by their records, unequivocally opposed to our right to own an AR15.

MV10, the point of this thread was to discuss the FACT that both options which have been postulated to these United States have a history of being anti-gun, and to question the NRA's political alliance with Governor Romney. If you want to discuss how you feel that President Obama is a Muslim or ass...

It doesn't matter what you point out about Governor Romney , you can't change President Obama's stance on firearms. He is no friend of gun owners. Nobody suggested voting strictly along party lines, although it would be damned difficult to give a good reason to have ever voted (D) in the average adult lifetime. If your vote isn't based primarily on the economy, you've got a screw loose. Period. Wow. Just wow. So morals, what is right, what is...

Re: Colt M45 CQBP for civvies?
Oh, you'll be able to buy it one day, sooner or later. You know Colt will want to cash in on that- esp since they can't use a government contract to push their AR's like they used to. I used to own a Stainless Steel Colt Rail Gun. They are nice. I don't like a rail on a 1911 because of holster issue...

Please do, since I seem to be lost as to exactly why you feel it is necessary for me to compromise my integrity by supporting someone with whom I disagree with on every major issue. Maybe you can clear that pesky little problem up for me, but I sincerely doubt it.

Mitt Romney's agenda is also fundamentally opposed to the principles upon which these United States were founded. That is part of the reason for the letter to the NRA.

Voting for the lesser of two evils sarcasm? Every politicain - without fail - is a compromise. You name a politician that is 100% in step with your political views. Using that hardline thought process means that you will never participate in any election. That's how that works. Next, let's examine ...

A cross bow would probably be better for a deer poacher because then he wouldn't have to worry about getting his high dollar can confiscated and possible charges that may arise from using NFA in commission of a crime.
