Re: Who Can Sign My Form 4?
I was really wanting to know. Thats why I was saying honest question. I was posting a link just for clarification. Wasn't trying to be a troll / dick. Was really wondering. Thanks for the followup. My apologies, I suppose it's hard to convey tone online. No hard feelings then. Bender nailed it, we ...

Re: Who Can Sign My Form 4?
Honest answer, really. We have boroughs, that's it. You should probably do more than just a Google search before commenting. Thanks for the help Bender.Loki_stormbringer wrote:weaponsloader wrote:Alaska doesn't have counties so I assume I'm ok

I was unaware the DA could sign. Yeah he is a pretty decent guy and we have a good working relationship. I appreciate the help.

Re: Who Can Sign My Form 4?
I'm wondering who can sign off on a form 4. Im currently a state trooper, so can I just drop it off in my captain's office and have him sign off? I don't want to go the Anchorage police department route because they charge $150 for just a signature. The trust route seems to be under review currentl...

Re: OVERRUN 9MM MICRO SUPPRESSOR $189 BLOWOUT!
I'm definitely interested, any details on the can? Is it user-serviceable, what is it made of and rated for? Does it have a booster or is it for a fixed barrel? This seems like a screaming deal....

Decent, if I had to guess it around 3.5 pounds. It smoothes out after 100 rounds or so.

Re: Anyone suppress a Ruger Gunsite Scout 308 yet?
I love mine. With the 762SD it balances pretty well and hovers around MOA with my handloads. I took a moose with mine last year and it carried well when I was tromping around the Yukon and in and out of the boat. Do it, its an awesome host. http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g460/weaponsloader/P102...

Re: Interesting Seizure
If you had a larger bore, wipe can... I wonder if you could make a quiet arrow launching gun? The wipe would probably F--k the arrow up. What's funny to me is THAT is the best he could come up with. I mean, there is an entire internet out there of silencer designs. And no offense to the OP, but mos...

Re: Interesting Seizure
do the charges really get any worse with the silencer even after ton of drugs and guns? Yes, they do. Federal charges, federal court, federal prison. The feds have a better conviction rate, and the sentences usually have less parole. That said, it would be hilarious if it turned out that -- drugs a...

Interesting Seizure
I seized an interesting item tonight during a traffic stop. In addition to quite a large amount of narcotics and other weapons, I found this little gem behind the drivers seat which i think you guys would enjoy. It looks like he cut the end off of a cheese wiz can and filled it with steel wool. He t...

Re: Been out of the game for a bit...
I really like SWR and Liberty (both have great customer service....the edge going to Liberty on this one but prolly because they are smaller). My Spectre II was so convenient in regards to cleaning that I ordered a Octane 9 HD and 45. Like the Octane 9 so far but still have to go out and compare it...

Been out of the game for a bit...
So Ive been busy for the last year or so with work and buying a new house so I've missed a lot of the new cans out there. I recently graduated from state trooper academy so its time I bought myself a few nice things. My cans are definitely outdated (Trident 9, 762SD, and Outback 2) so I was thinking...

Re: Should I test to become a firefighter or a cop?
Howdy, Cops pay a little bit better but not by much. I may just test for both and see who gives me a call back. . That's what I would do. Nice thing about both of them is you can drive really fast with flashing lights, and horns blasting, but if you're a cop you have a great chance to shoot someone...

Re: 5 inch barrel for 10/22 SBR
Thanks for the help guys. The plan to date is a Kidd barrel cut to 4.5 inches, Volquartersen trigger pack, and AGP side folder all duracoated black. I'll probably top it with a Fastfire III to make a nice, light little package.

Re: Should I test to become a firefighter or a cop?
Thanks again for the great advice. I guess being separated from my family and living in a dormitory will actually help eliminate extra distractions. I'm prepared to dedicate all my energy into the 5 month academy. This is my dream job so I really don't want to mess things up.

5 inch barrel for 10/22 SBR
I have a hankering for a 10/22 SBR with a 5 inch or so barrel with a folding Butler Creek stock. Anybody have any recommendations as far as barrel options go? I assume 5 inches will keep bulk pack subsonic. Will charger barrels work? Any thoughts?

Re: Should I test to become a firefighter or a cop?
Thanks for the advice. It does seem strange to me how badly people get ate up over little things. I've seen some pretty extreme examples in the military so that's definitely something I'll try to be cognizant of. Physically I'm ready for academy, what other things should I prepare for?
