Some of them you set up an account and upload a copy, but most there was an email address I sent it to.

Re: C&R lead times
What are you gonna get first? Im thinking a Tokarev 7.25 I sent my C&R to Century, Classic, SOG, Aim Surplus, and J&G Surplus so I'd be ready to jump on a deal. Ended up picking up and Polish P64 from SOG and one of the Spanish 1916 Mausers from J&G. Also just got in ammo for the P64. R...

Re: The impossible; Supressing the revolver
Received a 9mm alignment rod from CNC Warrior. Unfortunately between the barrel, adapter nut, and suppressor the setup is not true. Looks like there would be a baffle strike on the last couple baffles and/or the end cap. So yeah, majorly bummed. Would maybe be able to get away with a short can, but ...

They should flip the handgun upside down to avoid that.paper9 wrote:Empty cases, I wonder about them hitting the rotors.

Re: Suppressed 22 TCM?
When your new marketing add includes ability to make your own armor piercing rounds to defeat soft body armour, then I predict the company is not going too far. I clicked the link... I read the line.... Jesus. Viva la revolution! Haha, sorry, I was at work and just skimmed the article. I agree that...

Looks like someone is developing a carbine for the 22 TCM. Should be interesting, and possibly a better suppressor host. Supposedly they are also developing a kit for an AR.

Re: Suppressed 22 TCM?
Hmm, I didn't realize the recoil spring and overall recoil impulse was so weak. Seems like a boosted aluminum can would have the most reliable chance of working. But would an aluminum can be able to stand up to the muzzle blast?

Suppressed 22 TCM?
Anyone tried suppressing the 22 TCM? Looks like the energy is around that of the 5.7x28, which my sparrow is supposedly rated for, but curious if anyone had tried? Heck, anyone suppressed a 5.7?

Golf ball dimpling/fluting with drill press?
Anyone have any advice/experience with golf ball dimpling/fluting at home using a drill press and drill press vise? My form 1 came back approved for my maglight-style suppressor, and want to dimple the tube at a depth of about .1" to cut weight and aid in cooling. Tube is stainless, with an OD ...

I emailed them two weeks ago asking about steel or SS end caps. They said these were planned and only a couple weeks out.

Re: The impossible; Supressing the revolver
I've heard that Dan Wesson revolvers suppress moderately well when you adjust the gap between the cylinder and barrel to minimal distance. Also, you apparently have to shoot it very quickly as the heat will make the barrel expand enough to jam the cylinder.

Re: Integral for multiple host?
Okay, that makes a lot of sense. And I hugely I appreciate the help in keeping me from running afoul of the government!
But what about the barrel porting like that on the MP5-SD? Several small ports to vent into the suppressor to cut velocity, with the suppressor extended past the muzzle 5-6"?

Integral for multiple host?
Throwing some ideas around in my head. What are everyone's thoughts on an integral suppressor that can move between different hosts? My idea is to recontour the barrels on my AR and bolt gun to the same profile, and then add 30 caliber ports at 12 and 14 inches, with the barrel threads to mount the ...

Re: Maglite Suppressor?
Well I went ahead and e-filed a form 1 in 5.56. Hopefully in a month I'll have the stamp in hand and be able to order parts and start getting this together! Depending on how successful it is, I'll either form 1 a 7.62 next, or a 9mm and call it quits for now.

Re: Maglite Suppressor?
For me, it's mostly the lack of machine tools and knowledge. I don't have any tools beyond a drill press, grinder, and bench vise, and don't know anyone who does. Normally, I would make a impulse buy and get a mini lathe and welder. In this case, however, I don't have any knowledge on the operations...

Re: Maglite Suppressor?
I appreciate all the help! And I know, I keep asking questions, but I promise I've been doing extensive reading on here to try and answer some of them on my own. Can someone evaluate the possible effectiveness of this design? Would it be decent for a .308 can, or would it be better dimensions for 5....

Re: Maglite Suppressor?
I built one from a rechargeable Maglite about 2 years ago. the rechargeable is threaded on the inside on both ends. I had a friend make the end that screws onto the weapon. I used freeze plugs with a 1/2" spacer between them. I built it for 9mm with 1 1/2" blast chamber. the freeze plugs ...

Maglite Suppressor?
I have several factory suppressors already, but I'd like to build/form 1 a maglite-based suppressor and want to get a little more info. Seems like these work pretty well for .22LR, but how well would an aluminum-maglite tube-based suppressor work for 9mm? Would it hold up to continuous fire on a car...

That's what I was afraid of. Ammo is still scare around here, so Tula is about all I've found. Guess its a good thing I just picked up a reloading press for Christmas.
Weird I didn't notice a point of impact change while shooting. Disappointing, but lesson learned. Thanks guys.

JR Carbine in 9mm - 16" barrel
16" middy BCM barrel 1/7
There's no sign of an end cap strike either. First time mounted on the AR with a direct thread 1/2x28, but it's been fired for several hundred rounds on the JR Carbine without a problem. Mounted on the JR with a 3 lug mount.

Brands known for bullet instability?
Took my liberty mystic out yesterday and had some fun with the family on a 9mm carbine and did a little target shooting with my AR. Took it apart to clean this morning and found a 3 baffle strike inside. I checked with the cardboard test before shooting and didn't see any keyholing, so was wondering...

Re: atf phone number
Last I heard, it's up to a 15 month wait now. Personally, I don't understand why people call. We all know it'll take a good while, there's no way to rush it, and it'll come when it comes. Plus, why risk annoying someone who could just slip your paperwork to the bottom of a pile?
