Re: SR15 MOD1 / Or Should I wait for SHOT Show?
Kev B said this in another forum
"We have not been taking orders for MOD1's since July.
The Mod2 will be unveiled at SHOT and going forward that is what will be sold.
It's a step forward in many areas, and while aesthetically I like the Mod1, mechanically the Mod2 is vastly superior. "

Re: Timing a MAMS
None. I had a smith do it for me. He measured, tired all kinds of combo's and even another shim kit. Finally got it to work without any shims. He P&W with great skill.

Re: Timing a MAMS
Tom,
Thanks. I have taken the old one off, cleaned the threads, got it to time once to 12 but only hand tight without shims. Do you always start the turns from the same position then add shims if needed?

Timing a MAMS
I think that is the right terminology. I got a 5.56 one and want to install it. Is there an easy button for doing this? Pic's would help if anyone has any.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Awesome news! Order directly from KAC or Lawman's?

MAMS
My friend just got back from Shot and brought me a KAC goodie bag. Thank you.
So a couple of questions.
1. Are you able to pin and weld the 5.56 MAMS?
2. Availability and price?

WTS/WTT KAC SR15 E3 Upper-sold
I would like to sell or trade my E3 upper, has the classic rail. It has 40 rounds through it, sits in a safe. Asking $1200 shipped. Only trade I am interested in is the KAC Carbine SBR in 14.5" barreled upper, plus some cash on my end.
Price update $1100 shipped
Thanks

Re: Anyone have a SR15 Carbine SBR
Yeah, no SBR's in my state so I will have to get it welded and pinned. No big deal though. It was interesting that the weight didn't come down with the dimpling but no find out it is a heavy barrel. I still want one.

Re: Anyone have a SR15 Carbine SBR
Thanks for sharing. Looks like I will be selling my classic upper for one of these 14.5's. Is the SBR really that much louder?

Anyone have a SR15 Carbine SBR
Does anyone have one of these complete or upper rifles? How is the balance and feel compared to a Classic? Recoil? Are they for sale yet?
Re: EC vs ECC
GYZ< I understand what you are saying. It will probably happen to me as well once I get one, I have wanted an EMC for years. I talked with Gun Gallery and they have a good price on an EMC but that damn ECC is really talking to me. Only one shop has them though:) I'm going to sell some stuff off and ...
Re: EC vs ECC
Thanks for the link and info, I appreciate it. Thanks for all the info. Any links or more info on this Leupold scope? My plans for the gun are general purpose shooting, some LR shooting, no supression shooting, but I want a kick ass rifle that I don't have to worry about. The 1 lbs difference seems ...
Re: EC vs ECC
Awesome video! So was that the ECC with the new brake on it? That was a pretty smooth shooter.
GYZ, your not helping!!!!
Well, guess I should save up some more. Those of you who shoot the SR25's and have SR15 do you prefer one over the other? Is it worth keeping?

Re: EC vs ECC
Wife says I need to piss or get off the pot in regards to my rifles. So I want to move forward with SR25. These 3 models tempt me but not sure what to buy. I like the idea of the dimpled barrel but do I need it(guess that's why it's over a pound lighter)? Offsets- would like to have but can add at s...
EC vs ECC
I have read the specs etc on these and wondering why you would choose one over the other? Besides the URX and the chrome line barrel, I'm sure there is more. Has anyone shot these and compared them? Also is there a significant price difference? Or for that matter throw in the ECR for comparison. Tha...

Talked with Lawmen's and will end up buying from them.
