Re: NFA Disapprovals
Here's a situation that happened to "a friend" of mine... it might even be a hypothetical situation that never happened... and has nothing to do with me. It's definitely NOT me. Two forms were kicked back about a year ago for having the "wrong trust name". No big deal. T...

Re: Can length VS Length Listed on Form 1
Essentially, what you write is what it needs to be. Careful consideration to the following: You CAN NOT go longer. To do so would constitute the need for another tax stamp. If you do, in fact, go shorter, you will need to notify the ATF for a correction on your Form 1. Ok, so it's pretty important....

I can always spot a Marine. I was an 0351 with 2/2 I was out in Pendleton with 1/1 and 2/5 for six years, came to Lejeune last year and have nothing good to say about this place. I hate everything about this place hahaha. Not to mention I have had nothing but problems since I got here, apparently t...

You bid/buy it if you win you pay for it. I'm assuming it's on a form 3, so it would transfer tax free tk a dealer of your choice if it's out of state. It's simpleericdraven wrote:how does the process work buying off gunbroker ??

I'm going to seem like a giant ASS but I'm sick of people in support MOSs buying all sorts of high speed velcro laden "tactical" clothing and talking nonstop about how "hardcore" their deployments were. Also adorning said clothing with every Infantry division or SOF unit patch t...

Re: SBR Build and barrel questions
I've taken a lot of crap on this site over my legal interpretation of using a Sig Arm brace. In Ohio, the application of such a device on an AR pistol, configuration of use/actuality of that behavior, as a shoulder stock on a non-NFA registered weapon, is a criminal act. My interpretation of codifi...

Hey everyone, I recently submitted my 1st Form 4 through Silencershop. I used Silencershop Direct as well as used their trust document generator for $130. I completed the trust document but I forgot to fill in the creation date at the beginning of the trust, everything else was filled in and was si...

Hi Guys, Thanks for the great info on these forums! I am newer to the NFA world. I own and run a gunmsithing shop. It is an 07/02. I know I can make a suppressor and form 2 it, then form 4 it to my trust. Can I get a form 1 for the trust and make it at the shop? No plans of anything right now, just...

Well M855 isn't the best ammo out there but the point is they are banning ammo that is commonly used. Give them and inch and they'll take a mile. What's next a Ban on FMJ?

Yea I can understand that, but they are all butt hurt about it having a steel core penetrator. But with ATF logic they are probably just banning it because the tips are painted green.

All it's doing is taking Ammo off the shelves that have no effect on Law Enforcement, it's probably not ever even used in crimes. Now all the Ammo hoarders are gonna buy it up and sell it for triple what they paid. It's gonna be like buying .22 long rifle
